This place is one of those comforting absolutes in my life. Knowing that this place exists makes me feel happy inside. Every time we have a hankering for ice cream, it's either here or Menchies, depending on the mood we are in. You know what I'm talking about.

So when we come here, it's always hard to decide what we want. All of the flavors sound great, and even the flavors that are outside of my comfort zone catch my eye sometimes. Their waffle bowls are very good, but be careful, if you get the chocolate-covered waffle bowl, maybe don't get a chocolate-flavored ice cream. It's just too much.

Make sure you get your Snapchat out in time for the employees to do their mixing on that cold stone, because it really is a site to behold. They have a great amount of training and are so fluid in their motions. It's going to make you want to get a cold stone installed in your house.

Overall, this place is great. In terms of things that aren't business-standard, it's always clean, the employees are always nice, and the quality of mixing has always been spot on. I come here a lot, and I will continue...

I've always been a fan of the wide selection of ice cream flavors and the "performance art" aspect in the way they mash mix-ins into the ice cream on the slab, but more recently I've found that this is a GREAT place to go for ice cream cakes. I was browsing around, trying to settle upon a birthday cake, and the ice cream specialist (what's the term for that?) was very accommodating and helpful in offering suggestions. She ended up customizing an existing extra-chocolate ice cream cake with some artfully-placed frozen raspberry halves and other touches, so now it came across as a much more personal gift. (The recipient loves chocolate AND raspberries. ;) )

rude rude rude employees. The employees are college students that don’t seem too happy to be working there. When we previously went they rang up our ice cream incorrectly (cheaper). So when we went today they told us “well it’s $1 per add on so what do you want”. This was the manager who used to be very nice but seems like his boyfriend must have broken up with him. The girls rolled their eyes and said have a nice day with attitudes like daddy stopped funding their semester. After spending nearly $20 on shakes, they were liquidy like a drink, not thick like a shake should be. Very disappointed, will never go to this location again.
