I ordered food from here on January 24th off Uber Eats. I specified I had a dairy allergy so please no cheese or sour cream. You guys acknowledged the request, because it was even written on the box for the food. Unfortunately, your chef did not care about or potentially just ignored the allergy and put cheese in my chimichanga anyway. I have not had cheese is almost 23 years, I don’t know what it taste like anymore. I got about half way through my food until I realized it tasted a little funny, and when I opened it up there was cheese on the inside. Obviously I was shocked and a little upset, so I called the restaurant to inform them of the situation. I have to be honest, whoever the manager was last night that handled the situation did a terrible job. I did not call yelling, I did not use any profanity. I was NOT asking for a refund, I just wanted her to know her staff made a pretty severe mistake so it wouldn’t happen again. Instead of apologizing and trying to correct the situation, she started to defend herself instead. “Well as a manager we can’t see INSIDE of your chimichanga, so it’s not our fault and it’s the kitchen” WELL DUH! I don’t expect someone to go around opening all the burritos and chimichangas to check them. The manager represents the staff, so if your staff messes up just take the blame and apologize. Not try to shift the blame and make excuses. I told her I was not blaming her at all, I was trying to inform her of what happened, and she just kept the defensive stance. She eventually offered me a $15 gift card which I refused. This type of terrible service makes me never want to come back here again, so you can keep the $15. It’s bad enough your chef basically poisoned me with something I have an allergy with, but the fact your manager was so horrible at dealing with the situation is just sad. I already knew I was going to be up all night getting sick from the amount of dairy I had eaten, all I wanted was a real apology. Instead I just had to deal with a painful night and bad...
Read moreSince I moved to Orlando after one of my friend took me to Tijuana I had a gray experience there and I love the food, couple weeks ago I was in staff meeting at UCF RWC in my break I decided to go eat there somebody drove there. After order my food I realize I did not have my wallet with me and the person that droppped me left went home to eat. I asked to pay with Apple Pay which they do not acccept that. The server name was Angiie she was super nice with me she said we do not accept Apple Pay however, let’s me confirm with my manager he’s name was “John Pope”. When John came he apologize to me for not accept Apple Pay then he was like don’t worry about it will taking care of it, I am like what you mean sir I was about to leave. He was like will provide you the food you ordered free becuse you came here because you hungry, so we can’t let you leave like that we have to let you eat. I was so impress by he’s action I never expected something like that, that was my first time in life had a chance to receive free food from restaurant although it was a mistake also the way the manager and Angiie handle the situation that was so professional and amazing, I was really surprised and thankful for that. That make me realize in life there is still good people exist! John Pope and Angiie from Tijuana in university Blvd Orlando...
Read moreThere wasn’t even chicken on three out of these four small quesadilla slices. This is a $13 meal - even if there was chicken on here this is still pathetic. I’ve given Tijuana Flats numerous chances but every time somehow this location disappoints even worse. I love writing good reviews about places but this place needs to go. The burrito I got here last time was served with a stale tortilla and it wasn’t even grilled it was just slapped together. Horrible. I can spend $8 at Chipotle or $10 across the street at Moe’s and get way more food with way better ingredients. It’s astonishing to me how these places are open still. Would love to know how to go about getting a refund for this order. I was in a rush and didn’t have time to deal with it in the store. Your front of house staff is pretty nice though I will say - they didn’t do anything wrong and didn’t know I was being served a bean quesadilla. These prices are insane for how horrible the food is. Let me know how to go about getting a refund. Also, that was the portion of chips I was served this pic was taken before I...
