While I kick back and enjoy my signature cheesecake, I am thankful that each Nation's burger restaurant has a signature recipe for its menu items and it is (usually) flawless baby! I usually have very warm and welcoming experiences with staff at this chain, but they lost major stars due to service which is most important part of dining experience.
Unfortunately, I received some of the poorest customer service from Raphael given his lack of professionalism and disregard for working in a service position. I had to beg for my order to be cooked and packed accordingly. Such unnecessary frustration!
Upon making routine requests for things like well done eggs, napkins, utensils, straws, Raphael repeatedly responded " it's too much work", "I have other orders" and huffed and puffed, complaining more and more. He even had the audacity to lie to me saying there was no pepper when I saw it sitting right in the container in front of me. I asked for spoons, he gave me forks. I asked for jelly, he gave me ketchup. How petty!
No sir Raphael, I give you negative stars and recommend you move on to a job that better suits your interests. Helping restaurant patrons who need their items suited to their needs is not one of your strong points!! If bothered by simple requests you obviously cannot meet the basic responsibilities of your position and require a serious attitude adjustment!! I get better service at McDonald's..
For the cheesecake- 5 stars forever! The breakfast was mediocre- 3 stars at best- and BEWARE if you do not request over easy eggs, they will use artificial liquid eggs substitute ( yes, even though it says they will use a large AA egg). Not a big deal for most.. but it matters in our family!

Read moreEverybody loves Nations for their pies, even their breakfasts but so many folks feel like I did about their hamburgers..." I don't do miracle whip so I don't do Nations hamburgers'. For some reason after 30+ years I asked the cashier if they only had Miracle Whip, imagine my surprise when I heard her reply 'we have both Mayo and Miracle Whip'. Who knew!?!? So 3 decades of nothing but pie and breakfast and I ordered up a cheeseburger, lite MAYO, with grilled onions and pickles. They are very generous with their produce, 3 big tomato slices, crispy layers of lettuce and a nice pile of grilled onions...if fresh onions are in store you'll get 1-2 full slices, not rings, but slabs. The bun was fresh, soft, and lightly grilled. The only draw back, and this is mostly my fault, the burger was way undercooked. Usually I will specify well done everywhere, but with the whole 'they have Mayo fiasco' I...
Read moreCame in today 8/15/2023 @8 PM. Nelino was the cashier/cook. At my approach to the register to order, he seemed to have a f'ed up attitude by speaking over me while I was trying to ask about the price of an extra patty. I had to remind him that I was not done speaking. I really try to be professional, generous and kind when I am dealing with service people but this dude appears to turn it on and off at a blink. I typically go to the JLS location but happened to be on Webster Street and stopped in. I won't return to this one anytime soon b/c he might catch me at an off moment and there will be blood. In addition, the floors are sticky nasty, the tables are unclean, and the gnats are way too much for me to dine in. Danielle💓was a sweetheart with a smile...
