Don't recommend! If you're in Alamogordo, try Hi-D-Ho Drive In or Rockin' BZ Burgers. First, the door to enter is the hardest door to open whether you're outside trying to open it or inside trying to push it open. If you're older in age, I'd highly suggest you don't even try it. Go somewhere else. After I was able to open the door and was waiting for my order, I watched multiple other customers try to open it. Every single one of them had to use way too much force to open the door when entering or exiting. Second, if you like Whataburger or In-N-Out, you're going to hate Blake's Lotaburger. I haven't ate at this location for about 3 years, even though I drive by it every other day. I figured I'd give it another try. That was a mistake. I got the New Mexico Lotaburger and it was not good. Yes it's a burger but it wasn't good. I've made better tasting burgers with a George Foreman grill. Third, I was in San Diego about 10 days ago and got an In-N-Out Double Double animal style. I paid $6.36. Today I got a New Mexico Lotaburger at this New Mexico location and it was $9.41. I paid $3.05 more for a Blake's New Mexico Lotaburger than what I paid for a delicious In-N-Out Double Double animal style. What a rip off. Avoid Blake's Awfulburger and head over to Hi-D-Ho Drive In or Rockin' BZ Burgers.

My wife and I ordered two Fish Boats and an order of onion rings which cost $24.92. For some reason it seemed they were having trouble putting the entire order together. Because of this, order was cold by the time we 2 1/2 miles away. When we took our order out to eat it, I was quite surprised to see how small the Fish Boats were, not fish portions but the small amount of fries that came with them. The order of onion rings cost $3.29 and there were FIVE of them. See photos attached. Don’t get me wrong, the food was very good, as usual, which is why I gave you 4 stars, but I don’t feel I got much value for the $25.00 we spent. We normally get two NM Lotaburgers with a large order of fries which cost a similar amount of money but we’re filled up after we’re done. We won’t be getting the Fish Boats again to be sure.

Oh boy. Let me tell you a story. Having lived here for 3 years, my wife and I finally got around to trying this burger place out and we each got burgers with green chilies. However, little did we know, these were no regular green chilies. They were obviously grown from the depths of hell itself. I have had a lot of green chilies in my life but have never experienced the fiery passion these suckers produced. It was like eating the sun itself. I didnt even notice that I was eating my wife's burger with pickles and mustard (mine didnt have any) until nearly finishing it. How could I? I had an inferno melting away the mucous membranes of my mouth. It is very difficult to watch Final Destination: Bloodlines when you're balling your eyes out with such heat that you begin to wonder if you are part of the plot of the movie because you aren't sure if you are going to survive the supernova in your mouth. People are on fire in the movie and you simply think: "i feel you buddy." Meanwhile, your nose now opens the faucet so now you can't see OR breathe. So there we were, both crying our eyes out and making gross nose noises while trying to watch a horror movie about people dying. I am certain that we burned more calories than we ate. Never have I ever eaten a burger that seemingly drained my soul to a degree that I just wanted to go to bed after. Wow. What a rollercoaster of an experience. The only thing that can make this experience better is the adventure that is certain to follow in about 12 hours.

Am I being dramatic? ...no lol. Ok, yeah maybe but my lips are numb and i wasn't quite prepared for that delicious burger. 10/10; will go...

Ordered online, expecting food to be ready when promised. Not even greeted upon entrance, and when I got to the counter the man ated like my order was not read, and dis not even offer the drink already paid for, so I could fill it while he took the order of the 2 different people that came in behind me. Meanwhile, a bag of food was put together and placed in the holding warmer, and another person apparently arrived at the pick up window and was handed a bag out of the warmer, then that person who handed the bag out the window then came after 7 minutes of me watching them serve 4 other customers their food and or drinks came and grabbed a bag out of the warmer and handed me a cup filled with ice which I had to fill myself anyway and commented that he did not know if it was sweetened or unsweetened tea, because the order didn't specify. I did specify unsweetened tea, otherwise the order would not have gone through, so not sure what the purpose of that was. Although the food taste was fine, it was barely warm when I finally got home to eatt it. To be fair, I I usually get good service here, but apparently they have a new manager and incompetent staff. I am leary...
