Hey goomba? You from outta town, like east coast, Philly, Joisey, New Yawk "outta town"? You gotta try this place! Philly homegrown here, and I gotta tell ya, this place deserves every single 5 stars I gave them. If I could give 10 I would! I was staying at a hotel in the area and I did the big G search, and these guys came up in the very top few, so right away, I called. not knowing much about the joint prior to my ordering, a very friendly guy answered the phone and asked me what I was looking for, like "what kinda mood ya in"? I said hey listen, I'm a Philly cheese steak and pizza expert, so whaddya got to rival that? Whitout

My ID is vertical, as all are for minors, but I turned 21 two months ago, as the text on the card would indicate had the waitress taken a moment to look at it. She even took it back with her and came back saying no, citing a "waitress who had gotten popped before" for allowing a valid State ID with dates clearly printed to be accepted. Right.
The food was sub par. I got an absurdly large amount of food after waiting for quite some time for the waitress to stand up from the booth she was laying in. She treated us as if we were an inconvenience, in her way, and she didn't even try to pretend that she was happy to be there. I'm no cook, but I'm pretty sure I could have done better. I had simple spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. The sauce was clearly powder from a package and the bread was burnt. My SO had some pizza he described as being "one step up from frozen pizza". After I finished what food I could eat from the overflowing plate of food, I waited around ~20 minutes for the sleeping waitress to wake up to her coworker telling her we wanted our check. She dished up everything into boxes without asking, and left with little more than "have a good night" in a dull tone.
I am extremely unimpressed.
When I asked the younger waitress who was flitting around the restaurant to keep up with what ours was neglecting if I could speak to the manager, she said he had gone home already. I wonder who the waitress with my ID...
Read moreI tried to give this business the benefit of the doubt but after my experience last night it can’t go unsaid. My fiancé and I were trying to complete a DoorDash order for their business and at first was met with locked front doors. After rereading the instructions we realized it told us to meet the employees at the back entrance. Fair enough, we drive around and knocked on the door but was met with nobody. We then tried to call inside to let them know who we are and why we’re there but was told “that’s funny I have a fax machine and I don’t see that name in here.” -Then hung up on us. Before we could even try to explain perhaps the name was messed up but what was in the order. I have never experienced nor heard of such a rude establishment like that and after our first initial shock we tried knocking one last time. To try to explain and show the proof of order. After that last knock we were met by a woman who proceeded to ask if my fiancé was on crack. Because the “doors weren’t locked and we get a lot of scams over here.” While that may be so and I’m sorry if it’s true I don’t see why that should be a reason to scare more potential customers away. I didn’t go inside myself but my fiancé told me that the kitchen appeared disorganized, no social distancing and nobody wearing masks. Then miraculously our customers order was already completed and done- after being told no name exists and hung up on. No idea why we were treated so poorly when we were trying to work with them but we’d definitely try to...
