DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The hotel is an absolute mess and there is construction going on everywhere. On our floor every room around us is being remodeled. Dust, dirt, plastic taped to filthy floors, etc. Drilling and hammering starts promptly at 8 am. Upon arrival the window in our room was wide open, room was hot, our toilet was clogged and our sink would not drain. The plumber would not respond to calls and they said they did not have a plunger. They could not find another room for us, but then supposedly someone had not shown yet so they got us a room next door. There was one wash cloth. We asked for more and they could not locate any. One wash cloth for three people. We walked to another near by hotel who kindly gave us a few washcloths. Mind you, this was at midnight after a full day of travel. The woman at check in was incredibly rude. She left before our situation had even been resolved. The woman, LeLe, was much more helpful and the only person working for the entire night. No janitorial staff or maintenance on call. That’s not ok. There is no way one person can manage everything in a hotel over night. And another guest was also complaining to us this morning about similar issues. This hotel is under a complete renovation and it is shocking they are putting people “safely” in this environment. A call to corporate will be happening after this stay. We have stayed at many Hilton resorts and never seen or experienced anything like this.

Not Worth the Price or Experience... ⭐️ We were really disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Anchorage. The main reason we chose this hotel over our usual favorite, Aspen Hotels, was because they claimed to have a pool and hot tub. We called ahead to confirm and even asked the front desk at check-in about the hot tub hours—they told us it was open until 11 PM. However, when we went to use it shortly after checking in at 5/6 PM, we discovered it was closed for maintenance. No one ever mentioned this, despite us specifically asking, even at check in. The parking situation was another major letdown. It’s not attached to the hotel, there was no valet service available (this was around 5-6 PM on a Wednesday), and we had to walk back to the hotel from the parking lot. Despite this inconvenience, they still charged us $25 for parking. To make matters worse, the bathtub in our room wasn’t clean. It was just another disappointment on top of an already frustrating experience. The room itself was small and outdated, and overall, we paid ~$220 for the night—on a discounted deal, no less. For that price, we expected a much better experience. We’re not ones to complain, but this stay left us feeling really let down. As frequent travelers who are moving to the Anchorage area, we won’t be staying here again or recommending it. For the price and the Hilton name, we expected much more...

More of a Motel 6 standard than Hilton! I'll start this off by saying manager "Kash" was to call me. It's been 48 hours. To start the stay I get there and the pool is closed.. Nothing online states that, which should be stated, considering a lot of people go for the pool. This is Alaska. Yes, they offered to cancel my reservation for free, but only if I stayed at a sister Hilton, at the cost of same day booking for the hotel I chose. We all know that isn't cheap, in fact 80-120 dollars more. I'm upset, but stay, walking to my room I notice how filthy everything is. Night comes around and we were woken up a number of times by the barking drunks next door, banging, hollering. Call the front. They'll "take care of it" after another hour I finally go down to the desk. They said "don't worry, were headed up now" They did not. After a restless sleep for me and my kids, I take a shower. The bathroom was disgusting. As I looked around, I notice the black mold everywhere! Scrapable with a fingernail.. No wonder my kids were coughing over night. Asked to speak with a higher up, they rudely answer with, "he comes and goes and we don't know when he'll be back, but will definitely give you a call." The kicker? My daughter sliding off the icy, unshoveled doorstep of the back door, as we leave. Again, you're a Hilton. Do better! The leaking moldy window was a bonus!

If there was an option to give Zero rating to this hotel, I would have given a zero. They say that they have shuttle service and I was told when I get to the train depot I should call you for shuttle pickup. When I called, they said it will take more than 30 mins because airport pickup is their priority. I had to take a cab to the hotel at 9.30 pm. The next day, I requested a shuttle drop off to the Convention center 4 times in the morning 2 hrs ahead of time and I waited for the shuttle but when the driver arrived he denied me the ride saying he is going to the airport and airport drop off is the priority despite me requesting and scheduling the ride 2 hrs ahead of time.

Breakfast: Not much options at the buffet breakfast. Just some bagels, bread and muffin and fruits. That's all and they call it as a complimentary breakfast. Eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast and other things need to be ordered separately and need to be paid separately. This is very disappointing.

Front desk: you keep calling them and they don't pick the calls.

Now comes the house keeping stuff : House keeping is upon request. I requested the house keeping to be done to my room before 12 pm. I requested it 2 times on the phone at 7 am, 2 times in person at front desk at 8 am..I was told it will be done. I needed the room from 12 pm as I was going to be back at 12 pm for lunch from city tour and then to get ready by 2 pm to leave for another tour...there was no room for trash, I needed fresh towels etc. But when I returned housekeeping was not done. I inquired 2 times and I was told that checkout rooms are priority and no one was picking up the phone at front desk. I had to repeatedly go down to talk about house keeping. The front desk told in the morning that my request was noted down but later the house keeping manager told me that my request didn't get to her at all..now here there is miscommunication between the housekeeping manager and the front desk person. Then she told me that she would come upstairs to check the room and she didn't turn up at all until I got frustrated to the limit that I spoke with the property manager. Because I needed the room to be done before my lunch arrives as later I wanted the room to eat and get ready for the tour. I stayed in Hilton properties at different locations but this one was the worst experience...

DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst Hilton I have ever stayed by all means. Looks like this hotel is managed by a GM who has no experience. Day one they gave me room someone else was sleeping in already. This hotel offer Mountain View room with extra charges. We booked Mountain View room by looking at pictures they advertise.but we never got a view room. And when I ask for view room, the GM said that’s the all what they have as view. So that means they are false advertising view room and charging extra. Please see pictures that they have on booking website and the actual view. The front desk staff has zero knowledge and not at all professional. For everything they were calling someone on phone. And this is everyday. When I ask for water bottle, they told us no water shipment today and again this was everyday. When we ask for shuttle to train station the front desk lady told us to come down and shuttle is ready but when we came down, she told us to wait fir 30 mins. We complain to GM on duty and he rather doing anything about all the bad services, he ask us to leave the hotel in 4 hours. We have to miss all the day activities we planned that cost us lot of money and inconvenience. I complain to Hilton about this and requested that they view the cameras and do what is right. That GM gave us threat to call the police on us for no reason. He accuse us that we gave him threat that we did not. That’s why I have requested Hilton executive to look at the cameras. I requested for refund as we did not complete our stay in hotel but the GM even refuse to give us the refund. I am requesting Hilton to look in to this mater in detail. And definitely rooms were not clean, towels provided was smelly and old. This is worst experience ever because someone got attitude issues and has zero experience to mange hotel I guess. Please do not stay in this hotel if you don’t want to ruin your trip to ALASKA. I should have trusted other recent reviews about this hotel and not book this place. Do see pictures of hotels doing false advertising of the view room. Hope Hilton management look in to this matter in depth and at-least I can get my money back. Oh I should check my final bill, as many reviewers say they change extra. This hotel should not be under HILTON or either they should change the management...

Definitely the worst hotel stay experience of my life. Was hoping for a wonderful holiday in Alaska, but our first stay (this) turned out be such a bad one. HILTON they say, a big ZERO for hospitality this one. The day we checked in, the front desk woman (who really had absolutely no clue what she was doing there) handed out a room to us which was not the one we paid money for. We booked a Mountain View room (which is another big facade, they don’t have a mountain room, definitely fake photoshopped pictures on their site). We were fine with that, asked her to help us switch the room for next day. When we asked for complimentary water, they said they did not have any left with them. We ENTERED the ROOM and there was already SOMEONE SLEEPING IN. Next day we were given another room, just opposite old one which was definitely not Mountain View. Following day we asked for the shuttle to train station and the woman at the front desk (diff one, definitely one of the managers) said that it would be there in 15mins. When we came down, she said that it would take 30mins (since she was gonna call for it now). We complained to the manager and told him that we would complain to Hilton and leave a bad review quoting what we have gone through. Instead of helping us out, he stormed out at us (while we were waiting for our Lyft) and told us “I am the General Manager, and I want you evicted from my hotel within 4 hours since you threatened us, else I will call the cops”. We tried calling Hilton at that point, but no one could help us and we had to leave the hotel for bad Customer Feedback. It cost us our train tickets, we had to book new car for that day to get to where we needed and also another hotel night stay. We asked Chase Travel customer service (through which we booked the hotel) to help with our refund but they came back saying they could not help, since the GM denied refund. WE ASK HILTON TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER!! My stays were 25th- 28th Aug. GM name - Cash [Worst hospitality, not sure if he understands the...
