Update: Changed review because of horrible experience with delivery. Sales staff does not care to hear about it so I will provide them feedback here. This company has HORRIBLE problems with scheduling and preparing the order for delivery. First, they notified me of the delivery window several days beforehand. I arranged my schedule accordingly. Less than two hours before the delivery window, they sent a text pushing it by two hours. I called to complain and the manager rescheduled me. When they arrived, they were missing one item and a part to another piece of furniture. The manager promised someone would be here before 10 AM the next day with the missing parts. When no one arrived, I called, and the staff did not know anything about it, so I had to reschedule again.
In addition, the bookshelf came unassembled. The guys did an excellent job putting it together but their manager called to complain about how long it was taking them when it was HIS fault for not ensuring it was assembled before loading it on the truck or making sure ample time was scheduled for the delivery team to assemble it. I am happy with their delivery and setup guys, but this company has no clue how to schedule and ensure the right furniture is loaded. I have spent hours trying to get it right.
I still recommend Kleimer, but I can't recommend anyone else.
I wish I could select more stars to represent how happy I am with the design services. Kleimer Quintero is a top notch designer. He listens to what you want and finds the perfect solutions. Not only can he find the right products, but his color sense is excellent. Besides He finding tge perfect furniture, he found fabrics and rugs that worked perfectly with my existing color scheme and budget. Don't hesitate to get in touch. You will be happy with...
Read moreMy wife and I are having a house built and it's not going to be ready for several months. We were bored one day and decided to do some window shopping to see what we might like. Walked into LA Z Boy and were immediately pounced upon a pack of sales staff. No joke, I literally saw two people speed walk in my direction as a third sales lady was bringing up the rear. It felt so desperate; I actually felt sorry for these three employees.
The moment I said we were just looking, the lady in 2nd place of the speedwalk broke off to find another unsuspecting customer. The lady bringing up the rear shouted at us asking if we wanted to sign up for something or other with the "chance to win" a gift card. Honestly, wasn't really listening as my eyes were locked on the customer-seaking missle that was the winning salesman.
As he approached us, he immediately started rambling on about some promotional thing they had working. I politely said we were just looking. But he expertly brushed away this polite response and started following us. I asked him if this "special" promotion was going to last 6 or 7 months. He chuckled and said no. I said we wouldn't be buying anything until then. He slammed on the brakes, shot me a dirty look, turned around, and walked back to his perch waiting for the next prey to walk through the door.
This not a slight at the employees; they are just trying to make a living. This a slight at the LA Z Boy for cultivating a business culture that harbors these sales...
Read moreBeautiful furniture, but not the best fit for those who prefer washable couch covers or a low-pressure shopping experience.
When my husband and I visited, we were greeted upon entry and politely informed the associate that we were just looking and would reach out if we had questions. Unfortunately, she continued to follow us closely, offering unsolicited details about the furniture we were viewing. This made us feel overwhelmed and unable to browse or discuss options privately.
When we finally asked a straightforward questionâwhether they offered washable materialsâthe response was dismissive and indirect. Instead of answering clearly, she tried to steer us toward exploring fabrics and seemed more focused on convincing us to purchase than addressing our needs. When pressed for a simple "yes" or "no," she eventually answered ânoâ in a tone that felt rude and unprofessional.
If you value space to browse at your own pace and prefer direct, no-nonsense answers, this may not be the place for you. Additionally, if having washable couch covers is a must, save yourself the trip âwhile they offer a wide range of fabrics, none meet this requirement. If this describes you, I would encourage you to head over to Mor Furniture around the corner where we had an excellent experience both with washable fabric options and amazing...
