I'm not going to give a bad review because the pizza is usually good and the drivers do a good job.
But I do have a big gripe about the cost. So a free pizza plus a another small plain pizza comes out to 26 dollars then you have a ridiculous 5 dollar fee, that really eats into the tip but I'm not going to deprive the driver of tips because of this ridiculous free. And that's part of why people do the pizza delivery jobs knowing the risk of driving a lot. I know from Reddit circles that the franchises only reimburse at most 55 cents a mile. My house is 2.4 miles from the location so a 5 mile round trip that is $2.75 and I know I'm not going to be the only person on the trip so the actual amount being charged per customer for a delivery fee isn't really going to be that full amount of $2.75 of the 5 dollar delivery fee. And certainly not for insurance which is pennies per trip. This feels like it's just another way to rip off customers when my $25 dollar order comes out to 39 dollars which is 50% cost ontop the actual meal value including a 5 dollar tip, taxes and delivery fee. These drivers aren't making 3 dollars an hour like servers are restaurants do either. From what I hear they are making at least minimum wage or up 12.50 an hour?? However this location never seems to want to be understanding as i am. i ordered a decent sized order for the millionth time and for the millionth time it was undercooked cold and brought all in two trips lets not forget the second part of my order came an hour and a half later and was over charged . mind you i am a single mother with 2 jobs 2 children amongst more so at times i rely on dominos to help get the job done but not this time, I refuse to let this go. I only want my refund of $65.00 Hilary was the manager that night and as respectfully as i could I asked for her superiors name and number in which she refused to give me so i wrote an email regarding this on dominos official site and have not heard anything back this occurred 3 days ago. So the day after this time wasting issue i reached out to the store again and a very polite young man honored my replacement order and said that id get a full refund in which i was thankful. about 20min later he called back and said they cant honor my refund that id have to speak with the franchise owner. I called and left several messages and am now upset and still waiting as I have been like i waited...
Read moreThis is the second time in a row I’ve had issues with this location. They’re maybe two miles at most from my house, and I get they may be understaffed but if they can’t keep it hot during transportation with multiple stops then the driver needs to make more frequent returns to store. My order today took an hour and a half to get to me. I ordered at 1:45 in the afternoon on a weekday so I can’t imagine it being the peak time of day. I order mine well done and this and last time the cheese was that gloopy, midmelt mess where you can’t see where the slices are cut- no browning on the cheese at all. My bread knots are stone cold. The lava cakes on the other hand are too cooked- no lava center at all. Twice now I’ve had to heat up my oven to reheat and/or finish cooking my order.
