The food was good - exactly what I expect from five guys, however the service was absolutely horrible, worst five guys experience I've had. We walked up to the counter around 5:20, the cashier finished with the couple in front of us, then ogles the female of the couple as they walk away for a solid 15-20 seconds, not even turning his head or saying anything as we are waiting at the counter. We ordered our food and sat down to wait. It wasn't busy (maybe three orders in front of us) and it took over 25 minutes (from the time on the receipt) to get our two burgers and order of fries. When I picked up our food I reminded the guy (who took our order originally) that we also ordered a milkshake. He halfway asked another employee to make the shake. Surprise, no one even started to work on it. After another five minutes watching the three employees move slowly around the kitchen, giving another person a refund for an order taking too long, I went up to the counter to ask for a refund on our milkshake so we could just go before our food got too cold. The same guy met me at the register after a minute. I told him I'd like a refund on the milkshake since no one is bothering to make it. He mumbled a reply about being understaffed, then called over another of his only two other employees to do the refund. We finally left after forty minutes from the time of our order. I try not to rag on service workers, my wife and I have both worked in food service and been understaffed, but the purposely slow attitude and complete lack of awareness (or care) for customers is what is driving the 1...
Read moreFirst off all say overall hamburgers were good ance the fries were good. However, as much hype as this place comes with it was a let-down for that reason. The meat was a bit undercooked and vegetables were not sauteed long enough. I understand everything's freshly-cooked which is fine and explain the 12 to 15 minute wait but what I don't understand is when we were first in line and there was eight people behind us that they could not at least start the hamburgers for the people in line so that way the wait would not be up to 20 minutes I would assume it's about 99.99% chance that they were going to order a hamburger :-) the price was a little bit outrageous two hamburgers and fries 20$ I understand this isn't McDonald's but at least for that price the hamburger should be cooked properly and the vegetable sauteed properly. I think it kind of goes to poor training of the cooks and manager and not being fully aware of the way it should really taste and what the taste buds are really craving. It was just some person that doesn't really want...
Read moreWho doesn't go to five guys just for the fries? Fried in peanut oil? With a great seasoning?! I like to get half and half, sometimes the seasoning can be overpowering which in this case was. Either way, fries get 3 stars
I got there while it was lunch break it seemed, a lot of burger hungry customers! Not the employees fault, but maybe management could add a shift to help out? Employees busting out orders left and right get one star!
I was there for the fries, but I saw the veggie sammich on the menu. Gave it a try, good sammich. Not great. Basic bread and veggie sammich. One star for not being terrible.
Bonus: while I was waiting I was entertained by people going into the bathroom and walking past this mess of strings. People would randomly stomp to catch other people's 'string trails'. Hey, at least it wasn't...
