When I walked in the place was wasn't too busy, but definitely not slow either. Finding a table was pretty easy. The server was very nice and took my drink order almost as soon as I sat down. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet with iver easy eggs. The server asked is that all and started to walk away. She was in too much of a hurry and didn't ask for my choice on the other options the skillet comes with. I stopped her and asked for green chile and gravy. She then asked if I wanted tortilla or toast, white, wheat, sourdough, rasin bread or english muffin. I chose english muffin. She was still in a hurry & said okay as she walked away. This is the menu description; Sliced steak with choice of cream gravy or red or green chile and 2 eggs. With gravy and chile is extra. The menu also says all skillets come with hasbrowns or home fries, topped with melted cheddar/jack & served with toast or tortilla. She didn't ask if I wanted hash browns or home fries. The wait for the food wasn't long. It was served nice and hot. The flavor was okay, not bad, but not great. A little on the bland side. It had home fries. I guess the kitchen chose for me. She dropped the ticket off with the food. Which typically isn't a good sign. She charged me for the english muffin. That's fine, but she shouldn't have offered if it didn't come with the meal or at least say it's an upcharge. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. I might try it again. But not...
Read moreI've always wanted to try this Milly's to see if it's like the one on Jefferson. We went on a Monday while running errands.
At first, when you walk in, there's a lot more than I expected looking at the building from outside. Very pleasant and clean. The wait staff was busy buzzing from table to table.
It was seat yourself and we picked a small four seater near the front. It took about 15 minutes before a waitress looked over and said, "Oh, I just saw you all," After that, she was very attentive. I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was very sweet.
We ordered, and even as busy as it was that morning, our food came out in less than 10 minutes hot and looking good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravey and green chili because that's how I roll. My soon to be wife ordered breakfast tacos. My steak was virtually unedible because it was from the preformed frozen verity of beef like substance. The eggs hashbrowns and gravey were good. The breakfast tacos were disappointing, and even the eggs were tasteless and burnt.
I'm not sure I'm in that much of a hurry to go back anytime soon....

The restaurant is in the industrial area so Google it to get there it will be worth the time. I give this restaurant five stars plus and highly...
