I have only been here twice, will definitely be back! I ordered the chicken teriyaki, and shrimp tempura my first visit. The second time I visited, I ordered teriyaki beef and shrimp tempera. My friend ordered the Mr. Tokyo. We also ordered egg rolls, which I ate before I could take a picture. The miso served prior to our meal was absolutely delicious. We both ordered a soda, which was served nicely with crushed ice and by the can. I couldn’t be more satisfied! The portions are very generous and everything was made fresh and served hot. I would highly recommend this place. Service was excellent!

The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful and the server was just the sweetest. It was a rainy day so I decided to try their beef sukiyaki soup and since I left.. that dish engraved on my mind and soul. PERFECT rainy day meal! I can’t wait to go back and try the salmon dish the server suggested, among the other menu items! Truly happy I stopped by!

I had a co-worker tell me about this place and I missed my Beef Fried Rice from "back home" so I gave it a shot. First, let me mention the customer service. She was friendly, smiled and made great conversation with me while I waited for my to-go order. OUTSTANDING customer service. This was after she had worked all day and HAS to be tired, but you'd never know that.

Onto the food...it was by far the best I've ever had...even better than "home". The portion was large enough that I'll have lunch tomorrow as well. The price was more than fair. The egg roll was the largest I've ever had and was also delicious.

I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to go back and dine in and get the sushi and tempura.

OUTSTANDING! The food is always fresh and delicious...NEVER had a bad experience here and I've been eating here for over 20 years. If you haven't eaten at Mr. Tokyo yet you have missed one of Albuquerque's gems. The owners are wonderful people and take pride in their establishment. Something for every taste, my favorite meal: Ice Tea w/ Lemon, Egg Roll, Misu Soup, Steamed Rice, Teriyaki Chicken w/ grilled veg / Veg Tempura Combo. BEST IN TOWN...blows away any teppan place in Albuquerque (No Teppan grill here , but the food is as good or better). Wonderfully priced, easy on the budget...you won't find a better value for a meal of this quality anywhere in Albuquerque. Enjoy, but save...
