Windmill Tea House — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I love this place! It’s super far from where I live but it’s so good that I’m willing to drive for 50 minutes some days to get here. One of my favorite aspects of this boba shop is their big menu, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a boba shop with THIS much variety. The drink I usually get is the iced purple ube latte, and it’s amazing. It’s not too sweet even with 100% sugar level, and this is the only place I can find in ABQ that sells anything with ube in it. If you’re an ube lover I recommend it. I also tried their signature windmilk tea and I loved it! If you’re a fan of stronger teas this one is for you, I believe it’s jasmine(?) mixed with another one of their signature brews topped with a variety of jellies. Not only do they have drinks but they offer croffles, a waffle like dessert, and I loved the one I got which was the strawberry and Nutella. Aside from the menu, their atmosphere/decor is adorable and staff is very friendly. A great experience whether you’re getting take out or you’re dining in. I would love to hang out with friends...

This place was underwhelming. I came and had to wait in a 15 minute line just to get to the front and have the workers start arguing in Asian!! I couldn’t understand a thing!! I usually take a side in an argument but if I can’t understand them it’s impossible!! After that I went to get my tea but they gave me a little too little sugar. I LOVE MY SUGAR! And they only put a small amount in. I asked green tea but they gave me a green milk tea. This place needs a new staffers now!! I will be going to other tea houses from now on. I hope...

I came here a few times. I stopped going because I cannot support the practices of the owners. While I was waiting for my drink, the managers were yelling at the workers in the back even though I didn't see they were doing anything wrong. When I tried giving the tip to the girl who made my drink, she wouldn't accept it so I told the owner to give the whole $4 to her, but later on they only gave her $1.
