What teriyaki chicken bowls should be. Their mad sauce is AMAZING its spicy but not terribly hot. Best flavor spicy teriyaki chicken I've ever had. I'm absolutely addicted to this place. Teriyaki Chicken Bowl is out of business in my mind. Wow and their tofu is the best cooked my girlfriend has had in town. This is saying a lot from her as a vegetarian and she's usually dissatisfied with tofu. We are both addicted to this place. Can't wait to try the spicy orange chicken (unbreaded). Had the spicy chicken teriyaki with a side of mad sauce. I have never had such satisfying flavor and anyone who knows me knows how picky I am. Thank you Teriyaki Madness for restoring my faith in originality of flavors and hands down the best Teriyaki chicken I've ever had. Ate last night October 2nd. Going again tonight to try something new. Go give these guys your money. You won't regret it. The spicy is real spicy not just hot for being hot but the mad sauce has a good kick for spice and heat lovers like me but my girlfriend doesn't like spicy and she likes it too. Go eat here. The couple negative reviews must be one offs cause I have no complaints. In fact you guys should sell bottles of your teriyaki sauce and mad sauce otherwise I'm going to have to start filling my own bottles in the fridge to use on other stuff at home...lol
We ordered before arriving as they are very busy right now. Great to know that it's not just hype like Cane's was (not bad but not special at all). The lines here are not hype they are there because this place blows all other teriyaki chicken joints out of the ocean and off the Earth. Looks like I contracted the Teriyaki Madness...
Read moreTried to place an order online using the mobile app on 2/29, however it stated that online ordering was temporarily unavailable. This was unusual as I've used the mobile app plenty of times before, however I figured there were some technical issues so I called the store directly to place an order ahead of time. 3 phone attempts and each time I received a voicemail. I decided to drive to the store well after the lunch rush (1:30 pm). At the time I arrived, there were only 2 individuals in the lobby waiting for their order. I ordered a Regular Chicken Bowl and was told that unfortunately they ran out of Regular containers and only had Junior or Large available. I asked if they knew that their online app wasn't working and also if they were aware that no one answers the phone? Although there were 3 employees behind the counter with little to no business, I was told that 3 of their cooks quit the night before and there was no one to cook food.
Word to the wise...
If you are a business that wants more business and you are open during business hours - answer the phone
If you are out of regular containers then use a regular portion in a large container...this isn't high level problem solving
We aren't expecting a 5 course, fine dining experience. It's chicken, rice and vegetables. If 3 people behind the counter can't decipher those instructions I'm not quite sure why you found them qualified to be hired in the first place
4 days later on 3/4 their app for online orders is still temporarily unavailable....Teriyaki...
Read moreTried to order online a few days ago and got to the "Place Order" screen and it said it would be ready in 70 min. so I skipped that order. I just assumed they were busy and I'd try again at a later date.
Placed an online order at 2:45 today, it said it would be 15 min to prepare ($45 for two meals) and drive to the restaurant. Walked up and there was a scribbled sign that said will re-open at 4:00, and another even worse scribbling that said "No online orders". How is that sign going to keep people from ordering on the app or online? The app happily took my money, and I don't know if my order was canceled, going to be made at 4:00 (or later) and should I bother trying to pick it up. There is a "Cancel Order" button in the app, but it just tells you to call the restaurant to make changes. Called it and of course no answer.
Just read some of the reviews from earlier today and feel like I dodged a bullet as the staff right now are not prepared to handle customers. It sounds like there may be a coupe of non-customer oriented people there making it bad for a lot of people and employees. I certainly feel for the workers there, but if you cannot handle the business, take some more time to train and hire staff.
Not a good first impression.
I can understand having to close for a bit and/or staffing problems, but if you can't take orders, at least turn off in-App and web ordering, or set it to not be ready until you can re-open. I am a big fan of teriyaki places, and was looking forward to some competition for "Chicken Bowl" but not...
