Extremely disappointed with this place. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because the staff were very friendly. My family and I originally tried to go to Blackbird Coffee House, but it was going to be a twenty-minute wait. We figured we would try a new local place instead (bad decision). We happened upon this place and it was dead (bad sign...). We all ordered a variety of coffee drinks, and not one person in our group of 6 thought their drink was good. I had the chocolate chile latte and couldn't taste the espresso or the chile. It tasted like a bland hot chocolate. My husband's drink was by far the worst. He ordered a cold brew coffee and when he brought it to the table, I thought it was iced tea. It was so incredibly watery and they had the audacity to charge SIX DOLLARS for it. I can't tell if this place just doesn't know how to make cold brew, or if they just poured a cup of hot coffee over ice and called it cold brew, but it was awful. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! This place...
Read moreThis place was extremely disappointing. As a local resident in Albuquerque I am saddened that this place is in a tourist spot. For the sole reason that tourists recieve such fake New Mexican representation. The salsa is literally generic paste salsa they pour from jars. The food is mediocre and doesn't represent New Mexican food. Sadly this place is overpriced and surely only because of the location. The other surrounding restaurants/cafes are way better and bring more authenticity to the table. The only reason I didn't give 2 stars is because the staff was friendly. I would not recommend this place to any tourist who come here that want the full authentic New...
Read moreFirst of all, this place has no kitchen, they have a flat top and a microwave, so if you didn't order a sandwich, guess where your food came from? It's a real shame that this place is in Old Town, there's nothing authentic about microwaveable tamales from Sam's club. Secondly, these people are RUDE! They have little care towards patrons who have been waiting FAR too long for a 90 second burrito and appear flustered and unorganized when taking orders. I'm not sure how long a place like this can last in such a prime location, but I for one would welcome a change, as anything would surely be...
