Update 10-9-23 tried again, showed up noone would wait on us. Wanted to buy some cheese and not one person would come over yet girl behind counter making trays of cheese and 2 behind wine bar. I don't get this place and your super poor customer service, just terrible. Again, your loss money to burn but oh well.
Old review: Old town location, the wine was good, cheese was good, but if you want to wait 15 min plus and be ignored for getting your wine, this is your place.
Issue I had was the 5 persons doing the wine pouring for wine tasting weren't so professional and would leave you waiting for 15mins plus, would make eye contact but would not approach you to get your other wine samples, seemed put out if you asked questions about wines. Not sure but it was once they waited on you did a first pour you weren't a concern anymore, so sad. Also, they would not clean your wine glass between samples which if I'm sampling wine clean the glass so you are getting the full flavor and not a leftover mix. Just seems like people didn't care.
After getting ones attention for second sample i asked why we wrre getting ignored once waited on I was told well we don't have one person that takes care of you, we all do, and I was shocked.
If that's the case all of you have poor people and sales skills. I'm disappointed in that part but again wine was good. Definitely need to improve your worker to customer experience. If I had a good experience I would have bought 3 bottles of wine right then and there but poor service rubbed me wrong so you lost a lot of money because of this. I might be willing to come back but still unsure since I'm all about the experience.
Maybe, have a line for serving only wine to people at tables, have another for samples, and another for those buying bottles, honestly seemed very chaotic and not a good system here along with...
Read moreASK FOR A RECEIPT. In June my husband bought his sister a t-shirt for her birthday, unfortunately, it was the wrong size. I took it back to exchange it and they asked me if I had the receipt. I said, 'no' but the clerk said if I had the card she could look it up. I did and she did. She said she went all the way back to April but saw nothing. Then she said, "Let me type in his name. No, I'm sorry, no record." I knew differently but let it go. I bought 2 shirts and another gal rang me up. She bagged them and said, "Thank you." I asked for a receipt. "You want a receipt?" "Yes, please." She left the counter, out of sight and came back w/a receipt. I decided to buy a pair of sunglasses. It had a bright red tag.The only pair that did. 12.97. The total was 18.26. She left again and came back and said, quote, "That's the price from the distributor. Our price is 16.95." I liked how dark the lens was so I bought them. She took the one's w/the tag, so I said, "Don't you want to give me those? People will see the tag and assume like I did." "No...I'll take care of it." Again, I asked for a receipt. She left. Again. To the bar area. Quite annoyed. She came back w/the receipt for the sunglasses and said, "The register isn't connected to the printer. So I had to go get it." (Huh?) Now I know WHY my husband didn't have the receipt. I had to ask and was given attitude. I don't bother w/bad reviews. But this whole transaction was suspicious. Too bad, I like their shirt's. But not enough to be made to feel like I'm...
Read moreI went with a friend for the first time to Noisy Water Winery, thought the place was amazing, the wines, olive oils, balsamic, it was great. My friend paid for the wine drinks, I was shopping and bought 2 bottles of the Basil Olive oil, 1 small bottle of the 25 year old Balsamic vinegar and there Bread Dipping Blend. This was on Sunday 4/7, My bill was $74.75 reasonably. This morning 4/10 checking my account I saw I was charged $89.70. A tip was added of $14.95 added to my purchase of buying their products. I am shocked, when I called the winery and spoke to Robert about this, he needed my receipt which I threw away. Not knowing that a tip would be added automatically to my purchase. He made made it sound that it was my fault for not reading the receipt. Maybe he's right. I am just shocked that all the cashier had to do was ring up my purchases and got a tip. I'm sure a lot of people don't realize this when their purchasing Noisy Water's products.I definitely won't go back to any of their locations. Robert told me that is the way their system is set-up, a tip no matter what is added. It is up too the customer to be aware of this and check off the no tip box. Being their for the first time I did not know this. Expensive lesson. Though I like their Moscato wine and was buying it at Kelly Liquors I won't even purchase their...
