Moderately busy around 6 pm. Just got home at 830pm. Great company as the norm. Young waiter which no offense but he would repeat his reply. Sweet sweet or of course of course was his favorite reply. That being said. We ordered or drinks and appetizers. No plates for the appetizers. He never looked our way when we needed something. Drink refills, placing our dinner order. The manager which was very courteous and helpful, assisted our table more than our waiter. Again helping/assisting tables around us but would turn the other way when it came to checking our table. Inlaws love their steak well done. Halfway through it was medium. Prime rib came with a homemade aju sauce which was sweet and tasted more like a tv dinner salsbury gravy. Ordered a Colorado Bulldog. Waiter was surprised because he had never had anyone order one so he wasn't sure the bartender knew how to make it. Low and behold! The bartender walks up asking if we wanted half n half or vanilla cream. Had a print out of a recipe for making said Colorado Bulldog 😆 Service was very slow for our table as again? Our waiter would turn the otherway. Got more and better Service from the manager. Waiter forgot the horseradish and butter our table asked for. Asked for extra Ranch dressing for the salad before the meal. Forgot the extra dressing. Sun was setting and blinding us so I asked another waiter if they could draw the blinds so we wouldn't get blinded anymore. Closed one but the other was broken. So we kept moving over around the table to get out of the sun. Ended up moving the table over away from the blinding sun. Very entertaining watching 3 guys try to figure out how to rig the broken blind with make shift tools. Not actual tools. Finally finished our meals. Waiter did bring us plenty of various size to-go boxes. That was a plus 👍🏻 Paid the check and ready to go. I commented that he didn't bother asking if anyone would like to see a dessert menu and or if we wanted dessert. We ordered two desserts to go! Waited. Waiting. Waiting. Finally returned just to tell us they were out of Carrot cake 😔 So we ordered something else to replace the Carrot cake. He said no charge for the inconvenience and for waiting for so long. One of the desserts was suppose to come with some type of cookie? Tim Tams? Tam Tams? Whatever they were? We didn't get them. We said screw it! We already waited long enough. I myself haven't been to the Outback Steakhouse in years! But that's where we decided to go. Not again! Steak is a steak and this dinner was SO NOT worth what they charge. Manager did give us two $10 gift cards for filling out these ratings. Two ratings so two $10...
Read moreWe dined in Outback Steakhouse, 4921 Jefferson St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 On Sunday 11/10/2024 around 1:00pm. We do not get to go out to eat very often and so this was supposed to be a special treat. We sat right away because there were only 3 other tables there at the time. One of the tables next to us had called the manager over because there was a problem with their food. When we finally received our food the bloomin 'onion was tiny, half was burnt the other was raw. We didn't complain because it was free as an account reward. Then the table right behind us had to call the manager over because of issues with their food also.. Then our food came out. My son's outback burger was the saddest burger I've ever seen. I regret not taking pictures but he was hungry and ate it anyway but said the patty was super dry and flavorless like it had no seasoning at all. My husband's Steak was ok but his side of steakhouse mac and cheese was terrible and his asparagus were very undercooked. I ordered the Queensland chicken and shrimp. The sauce tasted sour which I found off putting but then I cut into my chicken. It was RAW not just undercooked but actually raw on the inside. Our waiter was very nonchalant about everything. He was not rude but definitely should not be in the service industry. He didn’t offer anything other than to have the kitchen remake it however I declined. I was very grossed out at that point and had no confidence in the kitchen anymore. The manager was very kind and took the plate off our ticket and offered a coupon card for a discount on another visit.. We had ordered a to go order for my daughter(she was not feeling well and stayed home) the kids steak and had upgraded to the mac and cheese as her side. It was so hard she said what is this? It looks and tastes like a hockey puck. She was not wrong, her mac and cheese was equally as bad as my husbands. Overall this was a very disappointing visit and my husband said we will not be coming back to this location ever. I contacted outback thru outback.com and did not...
Read moreWife and I hadn't been to Outback in twenty some years. Decided to give it a try. We were seated right away and the waitress promptly asked us about drinks. We asked about local brews and she let us know she was only nineteen . But answered our questions about drinks anyway. And then checked our IDs. They don't have local brews and only have one Australian Fosters. I ordered the blooming blonde ale. And my wife had the golden rd mago seltzer not that it said it was a seltzer. We ordered chicken sandwiches as the steak was over priced. And nobody around us was finishing their meat. I will say there wasn't very many people there, maybe twenty at the most. I ordered the blooming chicken and my wife ordered the sweet chook o'mine sandwich. At which point the waitress says really I've never seen anybody order that before and I've been working here a long time. Should have been a clue. The food took a little while to come out and we got our drinks served by the nineteen year old waitress. Don't get me wrong she did everything right except not take the order and not serve the alcohol. She was the only one on that side of the restaurant. The bar area was not busy and the bar tender could have taken the time to do their job. The beer I received was just a blue moon with an orange slice and all. I didn't say anything about it. My wife was served a can of the seltzer and it was drinkable but very plain I had to ask for a glass and she brought a beer mug. The sandwiches came out and were like warm. Fries were cold and soggy. Good flavor though. I had about twenty or so and my wife's plate had about fifty. The bloomin was very plain and had one little squirt of sauce on the middle of the bun. Tomatoes were bland and just over all disappointing. Chicken was tasty and not dry but not great. My wife's chicken was good also but dry sandwich no mayo in the restaurant had to ask for bloomin sauce to get them both down . Over all for fifty bucks plus tip I would never go back. I can see why they aren't very busy. I predict not going to be around...
