If I could give 0 stars I would. Typically Red Robin is a great experience being a chain restaurant. My family came tonight to have dinner. After arriving we were sat in the back, waited for 10 minutes in our table while a waitress walked around by us no one acknowledged us. The restaurant was not very busy at the time. After 15 minutes we approached the woman we thought was our server, she finally came over to ask us if we wanted drinks. We ordered our drinks and food unmediated because it took so long. After 20 minutes a different male server brought our food to us only to discover all of my food was cold and my fellow diners fries were cold. Seemed like the food waited. Finally our waitress Maria appears and asks how we are doing. We then continue to eat and the waitress never checked once on us. We wanted fries refilled and finally when she was delivering the food to the table behind us I was able to contact her and ask for fries. Her attitude sucked and she continued to ignore our table. The girl who brought our fries was not our original server. She was very nice and pleasant as well as the other male server. Our waitress never filled our waters they were empty till we left she was not attentive she didn’t seem to care for anyone. I kept seeing her across the restaurant texting. Super unprofessional and every experience until tonight had been good. If Red Robin cares about getting return guests they should retrain her on customer service and professionalism. There was NONE!!!! We will not be returning to this location instead going to uptown location or making sure we NEVER sit in that woman’s section. The manager on duty is the sweetest person and I am changing my review slightly because she really was kind and helpful! The manager was very receptive so it definitely was the server that changed the experience I will probably go back...
Read moreI chose to go to Red Robin with a best friend on Veterans Day this year. It is the only “holiday” that matters to me. As is my habit, I wore my veteran hat, which I routinely do because I enjoy meeting fellow veterans daily. Less than 1% of the American population serve in the military, so it makes it easier to meet.
After looking at menus, the waitress said, “I assume you’re ordering the -(Veterans Day special)... but it was said as if I were a beggar who was there for a charity burger. I talked to or passed at lest 10 employees, none of whom had a Veterans Day greeting.
Let me make something clear: I don’t NEED your charity burger. I can afford to pay for my own food. In fact, I picked up the ticket for my friends meal and everything else I ordered. The “charity” burger was sloppy, but I’d rather have paid for it than to have been ignored as a veteran. Maybe, in the eyes of Red Robin employees, I haven’t earned and don’t deserve a free “charity burger” but after 20 years voluntary of military service, I’ve earned some respect. Two siblings and I have served a combined 80 years. We’ve at least earned some respect.
I left disgusted and appalled, wishing I had simply stayed home or maybe gone somewhere else for lunch. This isn’t just a server problem. This shows a complete lack of leadership at the management and corporate level. Leadership and training start at the top and training occurs at all levels. Had Veterans Day been important at the corporate level, they’d have taken steps to ensure EVERY employee understood how much courage it takes to sign a contract and go to basic enlisted or officer training, and to serve our nation.
At this point, I have no intention of returning to Red Robin or any associated restaurants.

Read moreGreat vegetarian options. I really like this place. Had really good food. Great place for the family to meet staff was friendly bathroom was clean. Seems to be in a pretty safe location in Albuquerque as well. I got the impossible burger and I added pretty much everything that I liked without any hassle. They did forget to add my green chili. But I was so happy and pleased with the experience overall I didn't even mention it. Once I found out there was bottomless sides I didn't want to complain about green chili. Plus the burger was so good I didn't even notice till I was almost done anyways. Overall we fed a large family and all of us were extremely happy with our meal from the vegetarians to the meat eaters. Plus who can beat bottomless sides. My son got to see that he had the option to choose a vegetarian burger on the kids meal not many places actually do that especially when it comes to large change usually the vegetarian options are for the adults only. It was nice for him to feel included in the meal without me having to make all these exceptions substitutes and hassles. They made it excessively easy to order for him and my niece who has really severe allergies towards eggs and Dairy easy to order as well. They allowed us to bring in our cake and do the opening of his presents. Overall this was an extremely friendly place to be I was hesitant and I was the one fighting going there but I'm very glad that we came here. Definitely going to come back. And I'm usually a person that dislikes large chains but this place was awesome! Especially because most places don't allow you to bring outside food in. We had an overall...
