Update: I ordered a large diet Dr. Pepper for my boyfriend who was home. When I got home I realized that the cup was only half way full, but I payed 2.50 ish and felt that if I payed, I should get a full drink. So we went back, and upon confronting the drive thru worker, there was excuses and speculation to why I didn't realize the cup was half full until I was home. Ultimately, the argument escalated to where the worker (not the current drive thru worker- who seemed to just want to give is our money and go home, as it was closing time) was saying he was going to clock out and "take the issue outside" among other threats and cussing. We had our 5 year old and 3 year old with us so I said we weren't going to fight, to shut up and just give us the money so we could leave. We didn't even want the drink at this point and didn't have the drink filled. Because my boyfriend said he wasn't going to fight, he was then called a pu**y. When mentioning how the order is ALWAYS messed up, we were also told that the drive thru has no control over if the order is correct and that the people who make the food are the ones who mess up. I don't understand why the drive thru can't just look in the bag and check to see everything is there before handing it off. And by his own logic of how I should've realized the drink was half full at the window before driving away, he could have also realized this and didn't. It was a simple mistake, but the way it was handled was completely inappropriate.
Great food but poor drive-through service. We eat here maybe once per week and not once has our food ever been correct, even when the receipt reflects the correct order. I recommend checking all your food and drinks before driving away. The other day, I was waiting at the window for my food and could overhear the worker taking the next cars order. The whole time he was complaining about the person ordering, making comments like, "Ugh, I guess I'll just delete the whole thing and start over," or "OMG, lady, just order." We went this evening and they brought one sandwich to the window. We waited for some time before realizing they weren't coming back to the window. Finally we knocked to get attention and mentioned we had still not received our order. He brought the other sandwich but we still hadn't received our chips so he went and grabbed those. We also realized one of our two drinks were wrong and had them take it back and refill it. They really need to get things together and realize when their customers are spending so much money, what is ordered, is expected. We payed $28 and had we driven away with the first bag, we'd have a single sandwich and two drinks. That is unacceptable. Of course, I would be willing to change my review if I saw an overall improvement with our drive through experience, but this has been ongoing for a...
Read moreWalked inside around 3:40 pm. Checked a few messages on my phone before approaching the counter. When I finally came back to the register ready to order a team worker had passed by the front register, completely ignoring me, and one other customer. Not even so much as a heads up was given to someone else in the back that two customers are at the register. This worker proceeded to clean the tables and chairs. I figured maybe they were just assigned a job to complete. After around a minute someone came to the drive through area and saw us standing there.
Upon ordering everything I made no changes to the sandwich. After around 1 minute and 45 seconds my sandwich was ready and brought to me.
Soda machine does not dispense ice correctly. Build up of ice is all over the machine. I did not notice it at first glance but the soda machine was in desperate need of basic cleaning of common surface areas.
Seeing the back splash of the ice machine lead me to believe the tea bins are also mistreated. Fearing the worst I just stuck with regular soda and water.
The searing area had crumbs on the floor. You can tell they had a busy day.
The amount of dust on the hanging light fixtures makes me think high dusting doesn't get completed at all or correctly.
The food came all together. Nothing missing. Nothing made incorrectly. At first glance I thought the bacon was missing but I later found it underneath the tomatoes whilst inspecting it.
Pro tip for door dash and pick up orderers: take out the mayonnaise. That's what keeps sogging up the bread! If you take it off it will last longer. Mayo on bread has 30 minutes tops before it soggs anything it touches.
Overall my experience here was hampered by the lack of teamwork for the front register, and the lack of cleaning. This place does deserve it's current score as of this review: 3.8 my review...
Read moreWorst store/restaurant I have been to, probably ever! It's on San Mateo and Osuna in Albuquerque NM. . I don't usually write reviews unless they are very good or very bad. It's 8pm and they are out of almost everything that we wanted. They are mopping as if they are closing. But closing is at 9pm. We can't go get a drink refill because we risk slipping as one worker told us. There are no other customers in the store besides us. I wonder why? Very poor customer service. The person couldn't answer basic questions about the food, such as price for the different types of Cinabon, and he kept talking to a co-worker about his next job that he was applying for. This store was a combo with Cinabon. The rolls were ok, but not fresh like Cinabon is usually. It's was $7:10 for 2 stale minibons. We could tell that they had no interest in doing anything but getting the store closed and us out of there. If I owned that store I would be embarrassed if anyone knew I owned a bad store like that. I would like to contact the owner just to find out his/her objective to owning a store that bad at overall customer service, but there were no numbers or any info on how to contact them. I couldn't have been more disappointed in a place of business as I was today! Trust me, it was even worse than I can describe! I gave it 1 star because it wouldn't let me do no stars! I work for a company with a lot of employees and I will be truthful about my experience at this Schlotzsky's. I might even share it on Facebook, it was that bad! I will never...
