I was initially told that I would have a 25-year experienced attorney assigned to me that specialized in contracts and licensing. Confident, I placed $10,000 in the trust of Law 4 Small Business ready to push to trial. Instead of the experienced attorney I was promised, I received attorney Nguyen Nghiem... I was pressured to take the first settlement offer. 'How about you leave the negotiating up to me, ok. I know better than you and this is the best deal you are going to get' I was told. Three days after I declined the offer, the opposing party had a new offer that was going to save me $5000. Nguyen Nghiem is extremely aggressive and belittling. He actually made fun of me because I told him I was going to pray about my decision prior to making it. I reported Nguyen's behavior to the law firm owner, Larry, only to get charged over $1000 to have a meeting about it all... Phone called to discuss meeting; preparation for meeting; meeting; notes regarding meeting... Nguyen would soon squander my savings by breaking the written contract with the opposition and prematurely sending a cashier's check settlement. The opposing party cashed the check and never fulfilled their side, to this day. When I told Nguyen I was going to, once again, contact his supervisor he became, you guessed it, aggressive. 'You are not going to pin this on me. You better not call my boss, making an enemy out of me might be the worst decision you ever make.' To date, I have been charged $17,239.96 not counting the cashier's check Nguyen gave away. Zero accomplishments made. NONE. And there is still money in the trust, that gets auto-renewed, that I will likely never see again. Based on reading previous reviews, there is a high likelihood that an excuse-filled response to this review will soon be posted in an effort to not lose business and profits. Just brainstorming here, a great way to not lose business is practicing a good one. If anyone at Law 4 Small Business really cared about me, my family, or my business, they would have addressed numerous issues and corrected them while the curtains were...
Read moreThis firm needs to change their name to "Law for Small Businesses that want to become Medium to Large Businesses". That's what they are helping me to do: grow and navigate the terrain of entrepreneurship and business with alacrity and discernment. The attorneys and staff here are exceptional. I am truly thankful to them, especially to Christina Caveleri who has been our go to attorney and has gone above and beyond for us. Christina has been outstanding. Her ability to navigate different complex issues and circumstances extremely impressive and helpful. Her legal council has proven invaluable and more than pays for itself more or less immediately. At this point she has helped me write and negotiate an operating agreement with new partners on a new business venture (which was very complex and delicate), given once and twice overs on Non-Compete's and NDAs we have for another business, drafted an agreement with our Nanny to stay compliant and protect ourselves from exposure, and is currently helping facilitate the purchase of a commercial property. She will be helping us soon with Trust, Will and Succession planning. I would not have been able to do all of this at the level I currently am without the good minds and hearts of these professionals- especially Christina. Thanks Law for Small Business for helping me to level up in a way that allows me to stay true to my values while staying competitive in the...
Read moreI HIGHLY recommend Larry Donahue and Law 4 Small Business! I found them through a referral from an online legal form service that I had originally used to create a very complicated corporate merger from Texas to New Mexico. My original merge documents from the online form service were rejected by the NM SOS and time was of the essence to create the proper documents to resubmit to the NM SOS. I was a little hesitant try them out since i live in a different part of NM and wasn't able to meet with them face to face, but my hesitation soon disappeared when I started working with Larry. He got on my case right away, and with the help of his associate, I had all the necessary documents quickly and was able to get this resolved and the corporate merger approved. He always answered my questions and was extremely professional and courteous. I never once felt that I was being taken advantage of. I will definitely use Larry and his firm again should I need any more business...
