I ordered online and arrived 5 minutes early, pulled into the curbside spot, and called the number on the sign. While waiting for them to answer, 2 homeless men came to my car wanting money. I let the phone ring for a full minute, then decided to just go in. While I waited for the cashier to finish with her current customers, I noticed 4 to go boxes stacked by the pick-up counter. When the cashier was finished, I told her I was there to pick up an order and gave her my name. She picked up the ticket for my order and went to the cook's line. After another 5 minutes, the lady expediting the orders asked me what I needed. I told her I was picking up an order and gave her my name. She went behind the line and started putting utensils, etc. in a bag. She then proceeded to put those same 4 containers that had been sitting there for at least 5 minutes into another 2 bags and handed them to me. The eggs were cold and rubbery. The pancakes were cold and soggy, as was the bacon that we requested to be crisp. I had to ask for my coffee and was handed an empty cup and directed to the pot in the lobby where the coffee had been sitting too long and had a metallic taste. I used the service to order so that I would not have to wait. So much for that idea. They had my food ready. They just weren't ready to...

My wife and I just left this location with $50 bucks of food. We got like 15 tacos an we went inside to orde. Everytime we ask for salsa through the window they don't give us the right salsas an only give us two or three for a large order. So we were inside waiting for our order an we were getting our salsas. We got onion pico de gallo an salsas enough for each taco an the lady's there were super disrespectful asking if I think I've gotten enough an sarcastically asking if I was gonna get more. Made us feel so uncomfortable we just left without getting the rest of our sauces. Talking trash in Spanish not knowing my wife and I both speak Spanish. Everytime I come here they criticize us an talk they're drama like if we don't live in a Spanish speaking community. I recommend avoiding this location and going to the one on Montgomery where the people are actually glad to have your business. Talking bout mira esta niña agarra tantas salsas gordinflóna y esto y eso. Pinches viejas sin vergüenza. Even if I did wanna get a few more what's the problem we come once a week an don't always have time to go in so we have some at home too since they can't get our order right at the windows also without being...

I love Taco Cabana, they have great food at great prices. That's why I was so disappointed with my experiences at the Taco Cabana on Central. 1st experience: My husband and I went to the restaurant on a week day at 7:00 pm. There was a long line of vehicles in the drive through lane. We pull in and two other vehicles came behind.

We waited and waited; slowly the line moved forward...really slowly. Finally, we were two cars from ordering when the driver ordering got out of his vehicle and told us no one was answering his food requests. Then he pulled forward around the corner, got out of his vehicle again and walked back to us to tell us Taco Cabana was completely shut down...no lights...nothing.

He left, then we told the cars behind us that the place was closed. As we drove through the drive through, we stopped at the window to look at the hours posted. It showed open till midnight. No other signs to show they were closed or would be closed.

CONTINUED - UPDATE The last time we went to Taco Cabana, I got the posole with two tacos and my husband got enchiladas. We were both extremely happy with the service, the price and the quality of the food. We now give Taco...

Taco Cabana was a hit! Our family stopped by for a delicious and affordable meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a quesadilla, beef burritos, cheese enchiladas, tacos, and a taco salad. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The meat was spiced just right, and the portions were generous. The salad bar has many additional condiments. One of the things that really stood out to us was the value. Our meal was incredibly affordable, especially considering the high quality of the food. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, and we appreciated the option to sit on the patio. Overall, we're glad we tried Taco Cabana. The food is delicious, the prices are unbeatable, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Great service!

Awesome place to grab some quick Mexican food that tastes great! Better than most chain fast food Mexican places. They also added more options for Vegetarians and/or Vegans, with their cauliflower rice and Beyond Meat options which is GREAT! This allows more people to find healthy options for their bodies at a place where the whole family can eat, so I love that! I got a large quesadilla and a large queso/chips and they gave a side of sour crème and guacamole with it! Grabbed the salsa at the salsa bar, and enjoyed all of it for around $13. Love the convenience of the drive-thru as well, but there is plenty of seating inside!

The food was absolutely amazing, better than some sit-down restaurants I've been to here. Drive-thru was incredibly slow, 45 minutes from start to finish. Definitely not fast food. Guy working the drive-thru seemed to have issues understanding us and vice versa. Not sure if there's an issue with their mic/speakers, but there were some mistakes with our order. Nothing major though. Again, the food is great. Maybe our service was just a fluke. Either way I recommend coming here, just make sure you have time.
