Today, we decided to eat at the Coors location near Cottonwood Mall. We arrived around 1:20 PM and were seated immediately. Several other tables in our vicinity were seated at the same time.
After waiting until 1:35 PM with no service, we flagged down a staff member who said she would get our server. It took another 4–5 minutes before our server arrived. She apologized for the delay, explaining she wasn’t aware of a section change, and took both our drink and food orders.
At that time, the table next to us—also seated when we were—still hadn’t been greeted. Shortly after we ordered, they were finally acknowledged. However, they received their food before us. A new table was then seated next to us, placed their order, and also received their food before we did.
After about 20 minutes of waiting, my husband approached the manager to ask about our order. She said she would check but never provided an update. We waited just under an hour and still hadn’t received our food. The newly seated table received their meals before us, and at that point, we decided to leave—an hour after we had been seated.
As we were walking out, the manager stopped my husband while holding a plate of chips and salsa, offering them with no explanation for the delay.
We had ordered a Papa Bowl, chicken enchiladas, and a value eggs plate, pretty simple. Weck’s has always provided great food and service, but after this disappointing experience, we won’t...
Read moreSuper enjoyable brunch at this NW Albuquerque (NM) Weck's restaurant! We were greeted by a gracious & very capable Miss Silce (SILL-say) who had a co-worker expedite the 'clearing' of one of the better dining tables for us in the tented dining area outside the bldg (in the parking lot). Note: Currently no inside-dining is allowed due to statewide coronavirus pandemic restrictions. Almost instantly, our awesome Server, Miss Miriam, introduced herself, welcomed us to Weck's, then politely & patiently took our menu requests. She presented herself and (also) represented Weck's superbly! I can just envision Miriam operating & owning her OWN highly successful restaurant one day!
We dined on the "Waffle Combo" & the "NM Benedict". Awesome! Scrumptious! Asked for the waffle & bacon to be prepared 'crispy' & they were done perfectly! The total, including tax, was $32.32.
Staff was very attentive and professional at all times. Tables were appropriately 'spaced' for distancing requirements. Staffers (and customers) wore the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Dining area was kept clean & presentable at all times.
Menu options are exciting & delicious. Not expensive at all! Staff is motivated, friendly and experienced!
Very enjoyable dining experience! Will return soon! Thanks, Silce &...
Read moreI came in, got immediately sat. Shortly after McKenna (don’t think I’m spelling right) greeted me and took my order. I got my food in 5 minutes! Perfect for me! I like fast since I have stuff to do. I got eggs Benedict. Sooo good! I was just looking around to see everyone around me and the manager in the green shirt asked if I needed anything and I said no. I like how everyone is observant of the customers. I hate waiting for help. Even though I didn’t need it, her asking let me know they see me and all their customers. The manager in the purple shirt asked how everything was going and i said great! And she just nodded and took off. She should respond with great! Or something rather than just leaving. lol I heard her ask another table and she said ok. This might just be her personality or a really rough morning because this place was packed which says a lot. So honestly, I don’t blame her. lol just a thought since some people aren’t as easy going as I am. Another thing I noticed was a big group getting together here for a family breakfast. I loved that. Oh and a guy came up to his waitress and said thank you to her for always taking such good care of them when they come. Love the vibes here! Keep it up yall! Ps … the eggs Benedict...
