I know we don't really expect much from fast food, but I think we should at least get what we pay for! It started with a refusal to allow us to use the frosty key chain on 2 separate orders, ok, disappointed, but not the worst thing that's ever happened...we ordered the new signature sandwich meal, one large one medium, large Dr Pepper, medium coke, they forgot the frosty, we had just discussed for ten minutes.I want to point out that we ordered one if the most expensive meals on the menu, when we got home, we found BBQ burgers from the value menu, considerably less food than what we had paid for, not only that, but the french fries were cold and so greasy they left a film in your mouth. Our drink orders were wrong as well. But hold on, there's still more! I found out I wasn't given the reciept with my card. And even though we had asked for salt, katsup and napkins, we didn't get any, or a spoon/straw for the frosty. But the worst part of this fiasco was their attitude about the whole thing. This was our DINNER, after an exhausting day at UNMH, we paid around $25. and got home with $6 worth of mostly inedible food, and their first response was I NEEDED TO BRING THE FOOD BACK?!? I don't think I could have gone back at that point even if I had wanted to. When my son went back the next day, they DIDN'T EVEN REPLACE the entire meal. Their attitude was more like they were doing us a favor, (and we should appreciate it) Um HELLO! We still had to make dinner that night, didn't get what we paid for, they we're concerned about us getting a $1 frosty they didn't think we were entitled to, but have no problem burdening us with getting back to the store JUST TO ALMOST GET WHAT WE PAID FOR! This was way past...
Read moreMy husband sat in the drive through for 20 minutes, there is a special going on now on the singles...2 for $6 which is posted all over the windows. He ordered 4 singles. When he got the total, the bill was way too high. He asked what they charged for the singles and the cashier said "I charged full price". My husband asked, " why would you charge me full price when the are on sale? " the cashier told him... "well you didn't ask for the 2 for six singles" my husband said, "why would I have to ask for it when it is on sale and clearly posted everywhere?" To which the cashier replied, "well, I already rang it up so". My husband told him to re-ring it or get the manager to which apparently threw this kid into a tizzy. They didn't get the manager, instead another employee came and asked which order was his. He said the one with the 4 singles, she told him the total and he reiterated the scenario. She then started lecturing him on how to avoid confusion in the future to ask for the 2 for 6. Again my husband said the customer should not have to do their job for them when they are having specials. She agrees he should get the order re-rung and called the manager. Instead of apologizing for THEIR mistake, she simply did an override on the register and didn't say a word to him. Even after hearing my husband complain about sitting in line for 20 minutes and that no one should have to sit at a fast food restaurant drive through for 20 minutes. By the time he got out food it was cold!
Oh and they didn't even get the...
Read moreI came through the drive-thru at about 8:30 last night for an order of two grilled chicken sandwiches, two ten-piece nuggets (regular and spicy), and a junior bacon cheeseburger. I'll review those first.
Our sandwiches were fresh and made well, as well as correctly customized per my requests. The regular nuggets weren't super fresh but still good enough to eat; however, I asked for barbecue sauce and received sweet and sour instead. The biggest issue was my order of spicy nuggets - they'd clearly been sitting a LONG time, as they were hard and dry. Yucka! I only ate three before I had to throw out the rest, as even dipping them in the Ranch sauce I got with them didn't help.
It was raining, so when I pulled up to the speaker, I had to have my window open some to be able to hear when the employee came on... which they did quickly, but said they'd be right with me and didn't come back for the five minutes I waited before leaving and circling back. I love the rain, but having it inside my car while I wait for no one to take my order is an inconvenience. When I did come back up to the speaker, it took about two minutes for them to be ready to take my order; at the window, the employee wasn't friendly and barely spoke to and looked at me.
I used to work at this location, many years ago... the main manager then would have never allowed any of the above issues to occur. I don't know if it was just an off night or if this is how things are done here now, but I drove way out of my way to come here and was pretty let...
