Wild Avocado Cork & Tap — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Our entire experience at The Best Western Plus was wonderful, rooms were inviting, including all desk employees, We needed a good dinner and decided to stay there to eat. We had been to a memorial service that afternoon and had driven from Roswell. My friend ordered the burger and I ordered the avocado tortilla. The waitress came back asked chicken, Beef? I said chicken because it said grilled chicken.She came back again and said not sure if it is grilled. Food came and the 2 tortillas were cold and had shredded chicken, cold and looked like tuna from a can, rice that did not resemble rice. Asked the waitress who was full of excuses for the kitchen. It was another 15-20 minutes ....then 2 tortillas came with about 10 black beans, about the same corn, no salsa .. also no avocado .More apologies. My friend 's burger was ok,,,,3 asparagus, no fries, 1/4 pickle . I finally said do not bring my meal out again Bill for the burger. BAD experience, and enough time to feed us. there was only 1 other table ordering,

I stayed at bestwestern and went there for dinner. I had to wait for the server for a few minutes. That was okay. The server asked if I wanted a drink. I asked if they had wine. He brought a wine list. I was looking at it. He asked if I wanted water or something. I asked him to wait for a second, because I was going to just order wine right away. He said okay and went away. Then he never came back for 20 minites. During then he served other tables, cleaned the restaurant, even dusted right next to me seeing me waiting to be served. I just left. When I was leaving, he saw me and didnt asked me anything. Worst restaurant...

For the convenience, and with the food voucher, I decided to give this place a try. Service was average (Jayden was very kind), but the food was sub-par. I ordered the Big, Bad Burrito with carne adovada and a side of refried beans. My burrito was just beans and rice - no meat. I hate complaining about food, but felt that for $15 I should get at least something. After bringing it to Jayden's attention and he went back to the kitchen I heard, "busted!" So, that mistake seemed very intentional... the 3 tables around me also had either inedible food or an unsatisfactory meal. Not worth it - try something else...
