I work at a financial company and I was in the Maryville office on Friday, August 1. Is a very busy day for us. I ordered lunch on the app for the entire office. The total bill came to over $65. Sent the team member to pick up the food, they came back with half of it when I called to speak with the manager I was told yes they forgot to give them this second bag. I explained I wasn’t quite sure when we’ll be able to get there to pick up the remaining bag and I wanted it to be hot. She stated they would indeed remake it. I agreed to put in an order for a drink, which would prompt them to remake the food because that meant we were coming for it. I also explained we had no sauces, even though we had our cheese bites, and two salads sitting here. she said the sauces were in the other bag. I said OK please make sure that they are in the bag with his new order. The team member returned to the office with no sauces. Now we had chicken fingers, fried pickles, cheese bites, and two salad salads. We had no dressings or dipping sauces and I even paid for extra dipping sauces. I called the manager back and she said that the team member says they put sausage in the bag. I explained I am also a multi unit manager and I surely would not call stating we had no sauces if we did not and I didn’t think that that was the most appropriate conversation to have with a Customer as I felt she was stating I was lying. Now I know that’s not what she meant however, it could’ve been perceived that way and we all know perception is reality. She then stayed at the she would put my name in the book and we could have our entire meal made again. That she would ensure that everything was as should be. So I called on Monday to get our lunch. I speak with a young lady. She states the only thing in the book was the child’s meal and the fried pickles, now that’s what we were missing the first time. I then say when is the manager on duty that was on duty Friday around 2:30 PM. She tells me she does not know she will have to look into it. So I ask when I should call back or if she was gonna call me back when it was straightened out. She said she had to leave at 2 o’clock because she had a special-needs child and the father was at work so she would have to leave at 2 o’clock not sure what they had to do with me however she did call me back quickly afterwards and tell me the district manager was notified and they stated that a $20 credit should suffice. I asked for the district manager to return my call. I am awaiting that call. I will gladly update my Google review once I Receive that call with those Details. I never would’ve expected a whole remade meal, but since that’s what I was told considering we weren’t able to enjoy hours with the order and no sauces or dressings and certainly was not gonna send somebody up there a third time, this seemed fair to me and now I’m being told something completely different. My daughter was eating her food and found a long blonde curly hair on one of her chicken wings, so I brought it up to the counter to have it remade. The cashier went and spoke to the person in the food window, who was a guy with a long blonde curly beard, no beard covering at all and was on the food line preparing all the food. I instantly felt sick and asked to speak to the manager. When I explained the situation and my concerns with this guy working around food with no beard covering, the manager informed me that they do not use beard covers and it’s not store policy to use them at all. While he did remove the guy from the line, while we were there at least, that certainly did not solve the problem. Nothing about this was handled appropriately. I was feeling sick to my stomach after eating some of my food that this man with a beard had prepared and so I asked if the manager could please remake my order so that I could finish eating, so he did do that for me. However when I went back to the table, my daughter had found a 2nd long blonde curly hair in her food which had been remade by that guy with the beard. I was beyond furious and sickened by this whole situation. I showed the manager the 2nd plate of food with hair and threw all of our food in the trash. I asked for a refund for the whole order which he did provide, however there was no apology for this incident and no reassurance that this would not happen again. He only said he would speak to his general manager and see if they could order beard covers as they do not make their employees use them at this location. This whole situation could have easily been avoided had this store chosen to follow proper safety and health requirements. I’m completely disappointed with this location and how this incident was handled. I will never eat at this location again, especially after going back inside the restaurant after sitting outside for about 10 mins, only to find the bearded guy back on the food line preparing food. Read moreA terrible experience and total rudeness from the front counter brunette handling our issue. I Order 2 Combo meals to be eaten in the dining room. Food served in with only about a 3 minute wait. My wife requested that they toast boths sides of the Texas Toast rather than just the one side otherwise all ordered was standard. Food came out and brought back to table and immediately came back to counter because my fries and her fries were made 10 minutes or more before we ordered and were not fresh. I came to counter and asked for 2 orders of fresh fries and went back to my table. My wife was eating her tenders and I had then tried my wings- colder than room temp - almost refrigerator temp. If sauce on wings was cold and wings were room temp then I could maybe fathom it but they were under 70 degrees Fahrenheit and I prefer my wings hot like maybe 120-140 degrees when served. They came with my New Fries and then when I asked for them at that time to replace my wings. The lady said we Cannot replace your Full Order- you eaten one. We can replace 4 of your wings but not 5 wings. I asked if I may have fresh fries with my Newly replaced wings when they come out and she said NO because she just handed me my Fresh Fries. But I said they will not be fresh 5 minutes from now when my fresh wings come. MY 4 WINGS, not 5. It isnt my fault that the order was wrong.
