Denny's — Restaurant in Aldine

So let me start off saying I definitely felt racially discriminated against considering the day I visited I was seated by an older Hispanic woman, I told the woman and manager that I had to run to my car (which was parked in front of the building) to get my headphones which they both replied that it was ok it took all of 2 minutes maybe even less when I returned the same woman was seating a Hispanic family at the very table she sat me at, as I’m returning I’m explaining to her that she originally sat me there so I reported it to the manager who later sat me at a different table, fine i didn’t complain. The manager took my order, the food came out very quickly (great! Still no complaints) I’m sitting patiently waiting for someone anyone to stop by my table to make sure I didn’t need anything….no one came for at least 20 minutes I stopped the same older Hispanic woman to ask for a glass of water (very simple request) she says ok….but she doesn’t moves continuing to talk to her co worker (still not complaining) she walks off and I’m thinking she is going to get the water I requested no she looks me in my face and walks to another Hispanic woman who is sitting right next to me (still not complaining) so I kindly ask her about the water agin she brushes me off and goes to help the same Hispanic family that she sat at the table I was supposed to be sitting at. At this point I just get up and go to the counter and ask to pay for my food as I’m paying I ask the manager could I speak to him for a second about my experience he says yes and very kindly I explain the situation his only response to me was “can I get you some water to go?” (Btw the manager is Hispanic as well and obviously I’m not) I’m not saying that this place is discriminating against people who look like me but it sure...

I made it a point to speak with the manager (didn't get his name) before departing. His staff is a reflection of him as he is of them...I stopped that morning cause I was CRAVING some french toast and strawberries...I don't know if there was an event, special gathering or if that was the norm but that place was JUMPING! Lol I'm talking wait list with a line PACKED! The two in the front (young male w/braces I think his name was Irvin and a young lady (I didn't get her name) were AWESOME and handling things as far as taking orders, handing out To-Go orders, taking payments, the seating, the wait list and communicating with other staff members with ON POINT PRECISE PRECISION. I didn't see any frustration confusion or lack/lapse with the staff, which is the biggest plus. Team work was ever present and I was thoroughly impressed. The young guy is the one that assisted me without missing a beat. Very polite and helpful. Made sure I got all the bang for my buck. It took me longer to decide on my full order, and pay than it did for my order to come out PIPING HOT! I thought it was preprepared and reheated. From there to the tire shop to car toys and then home it took me about 40-45min. Imagine my surprise to find my food HOT & FRESH!!! 😋😋😋 I wasn't too happy about the price AT FIRST, but the food and experience all the way around as a whole was...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at your Dennys restaurant on Eastex Freeway, and I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on the experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by our server, Evanny.

Evanny was attentive, kind, and incredibly efficient throughout our visit. They took the time to ensure that our orders were accurate, made thoughtful recommendations, and checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything else. Their friendly demeanor and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience, making it a memorable one.

Moreover, the food was delicious and arrived promptly, which I greatly appreciated. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive impression. It's clear that the team at Dennys on Eastex Freeway takes pride in their work and strives to provide excellent service to their patrons.

I wanted to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience and commend Evanny on a job well done. Their dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed and made a significant difference in my visit.
