My recent experience at Stampede Houston Bar was nothing short of appalling. What was meant to be an enjoyable evening quickly turned into a nightmare, thanks to the abysmal treatment my girlfriend and her friend received.
We had paid $150 for a table, expecting a night of fun and relaxation. However, when my girlfriend walked her intoxicated friend to her Uber, she was shockingly denied re-entry upon returning after only being in the bar for an hour. This would be frustrating under any circumstances, but given the significant amount we had paid for our table, it was absolutely unacceptable.
The situation escalated when security got involved. Instead of addressing the issue with professionalism and understanding, the security staff were not only unhelpful but also physically aggressive. Hands were laid on my girlfriend and her friend, an action that is entirely inexcusable. The staff’s aggressive and dismissive attitude was both shocking and distressing.
It's clear that the staff at Stampede Houston are poorly trained in handling situations with tact and respect. Their behavior left us feeling unsafe and disrespected. For a venue that charges premium prices, one would expect a much higher standard of service and a secure environment. Unfortunately, Stampede Houston failed on all fronts.
I strongly advise anyone considering a night out at Stampede Houston to think twice. The poor management, combined with the unprofessional and aggressive behavior of the security staff, makes it a place to avoid. Your safety and enjoyment are better...

We visited during a concert ($40 per ticket) First order, we walked up to the bar after some girls got served and left. Bartender yelled "the line is over there". After moving up the line to finally place the order, she served everyone around us. Therefore, the question we asked was, what happened to the line? Her reply was, she could only take one order at a time. I was asking my date what she had sad, since I couldn't hear her well. Then the bartender chimes in with, what is that. So I just placed my order. My date told me that she felt the girl has been rude. Then the girl again chimed in, what was that? So we pointed out, that we had been standing at the bar and she told us to get in line. After we got to the bar she had not been taking our order. The girl complained about her time being wasted. And continued to tell us not to get back in her line after bringing the drinks. I'll paid the tab and asked for a receipt. She said she can't print one without a manager. So I asked her to get him. She returned and said he was busy and it will be a while... I did get the receipt but she made sure I couldn't talk to him.
There were other incidences with some of their other staff members which I think doesn't need to be addressed. You are getting the picture. Paying $40 per concert ticket and up to $400 per table, one can expect a much better treatment. Simply since it was unjustified!
To say the very least, you will never find me in this...
Read moreFirst time at Stampede, I loved the atmosphere and the ability to go upstairs for a change of music if you want. However I do not think I will be returning due to a few factors. 1. No free water which at a club where over 21 can DRINK I do not agree with that because that doesn't help individuals who are also spending a lot of time dancing on the dance floor. 2. I attended with a group of individuals where some of us were over 21 and some were not. We few of us had left the table to go dance, and upon returning one of our party members was being told to leave because the security had been "watching us all night and saw him drinking". What I do not understand about this incident is that the security waited until our table was CLEARED of the alcoholic drinks before approaching my friend and accusing him of drinking. In my opinion, if the security guy had been watching us all night and seen my underage friend drinking, why did he not come up prior to our table being cleared of the drinks to kick my friend out? Because in my opinion if this was the case, he was not doing his job. It makes no sense to me. If you think someone is underage drinking, you should approach the situation at that time not wait until the individual has no drink. Otherwise it was a fun night, but unfortunately I work in the bar industry and I do not think I will be returning. If you are going to allow 18 + into your venue, ensure the security know how to handle situations like this and please...
