Bob and Edith's Diner is a classic American eatery that has been serving up classic comfort food for generations. This iconic establishment is a staple in the community, renowned for its homestyle cooking, friendly service, and charming atmosphere.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bob and Edith's and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the attention to detail in every dish. The club sandwich was a standout, with juicy, tender chicken, crisp bacon, ripe tomato, and a generous helping of lettuce and mayonnaise all nestled between two slices of toasted bread. The chicken tenders, which are a staple on the children's menu, were also a hit with my dining companion, who noted their crispy exterior and juicy, tender interior.
The grilled cheese with ham was a true masterpiece, with melted cheese perfectly balanced with the salty, smoky flavor of the ham. The bread was perfectly toasted, creating a crispy crust that gave way to a soft, chewy center. The sandwich was filling, but not heavy, making it the perfect comfort food for a cold day.
The service at Bob and Edith's was also top-notch, with the staff being friendly and attentive, always making sure that our glasses were filled and our plates were cleared in a timely manner. The atmosphere was charming and inviting, with vintage décor and a warm, welcoming ambiance.
In conclusion, Bob and Edith's Diner is a true gem, offering up classic comfort food in a charming and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for a classic club sandwich, crispy chicken tenders, or a grilled cheese with ham, you're sure to find something to love at this iconic establishment. I highly recommend Bob and Edith's Diner to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a memorable...
Read moreHave been a fan of Bob & Edith’s for years. This is a relatively new store.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
I live nearby, was excited when they opened. I get b-fast out often.
However, since they opened, I used their mobile app 5 times - and 5 times either got the wrong order or they didn’t make the order at all.
I tried to get my money back for their most recent screw-up today, but the manager couldn’t figure out how to repay me…just wanted to make the order right.
Straight forward order…bought a couple meals and a cheese omelette to-go. The omelette came with ham though…discovered after my vegetarian wife tried to eat it at home. So I drove back to the store and asked for a refund, not a replacement. My wife was long-gone at work by this point, having eaten something else and moved on…so I didn’t want wait around for them to cook an omelette that wouldn’t be eaten.
That blew his mind. Could not figure out how. He was going to pay me out of his own pocket. Poor guy.
In store service has been bumpy, too - somewhat expected in a new place…but not like this.
Bottom line: Don’t use their on-line app, & don’t go to this B & E until they can figure out what they are doing.
I would go to the store a couple miles south if you’re dying for B & E…but that will no longer be me. I tried to give them another chance…several times…but they lost a customer thru their very poor customer service...
Read moreThis location was convenient to my company's HQ so I was excited to see a diner nearby. (I usually LOVE diners, too). BTW - I'm only rating the food and experience that I had, not what my lunch companions had.
Of course, I also blame myself for not ordering what most diners are good at, namely breakfast stuff. But it was 1:30 in the afternoon...so I actually ordering their chili...which.... tasted like it came from a can.... and when I asked if they put cheese on top, the waiter said no, but they could do that. My chili arrived with what looked like a couple of slices of american cheese torn into squares and placed on the chili. That was not what I expected and I definitely did not expect to be charged an extra $2 for 2 measely slices of America processed cheeses. Given that I was with other people I didn't make a big scene about the extra $2 but if I were eating by myself you bet I would have! I hope the owner sees this, and make some changes because NO self respecting diner should offer chili without cheese on top of it or at least on the side. At least not in this area with a lot of cultured consumers. And, sour cream, too. So would I go back? Eehhh....maybe if somebody gave me a gift card as a present....or they were buying. BUT....if I did go back, it would be to have something off the breakfast menu even if I were there at two or three o'clock in the afternoon.....or 10 ...
