Got there at 10:50AM, ordered at 11AM. Were told our order was almost up, we were the 2nd ones placed. Another table with the same amount of people came 10 minutes after us and received there food at 11:25-ish. We went up there to ask what is going on, by then a bit aggravated, and were told our server put it in a few minutes ago which baffled us because she came by and said it was already placed in and coming up. Finally received our food around 11:40-ish. It was ok, stuffed hashed brown prime rib meal didn't have enough steak spread out evenly over the dish, we were missing fruit and grits, bacon was cold (even though server said it just came out), syrup was watery (they overheated it the server said) but ,nonetheless, we ate. Called the manager over and was met with a agitated nonconcerned tone and were told it was "taken care of in the back" and "I am not sure what else you want me to do, she put it in late, sorry for the wait" but were ultimately told "I already took care of it", which we didn't know because no one came back to apologize or say anything. They just dropped off the food and went about their way. We were given our bill, which concluded a 10% discount off of 3 meals, which, honestly, is just tax. We respectfully complained and notified them we waited over 40 minutes, seeing others come in after us and receive food before us. They stated quite rudely that they would not take off the whole bill, 10% is sufficient and "don't understand what your complaining for" (told not by the manager but another official that came from the back - the possible owner or cook). Flabbergasted and a bit offended, we paid for our food and even tipped the server, although it was her lack of responsibility that got our food there late in the first place. Kill them with kindness. Will inform corporate though. Good luck eating...
Read moreSo we ordered thru the app- they did not have one entree in stock - instead of apologizing and asking if we’d like a substitute they just gave us our take out order without any conversation about the missing entree. When we asked where it was, that’s when they explained we were out of luck because they didn’t have it in stock - when I asked to speak to a manager I was told very hotly “we ain’t got managers here” - I asked for a refund - they don’t do that at Huddle House - for real
I was told to go to the website - the website only had a number that said it was for headquarters- the number rang to a company called Ascent Hospitality Management - the apathetic man on the line told me several times he did not work for Huddle House but he could a message to them and in 3 business days they will get back to me.
If I take food from Huddle House without the paying that’s a felony - if Huddle House doesn’t give you your food but takes your money - it is on you to call them, wait for a call back and then they will process your refund (I guess?) I have not heard back from them yet
It’s their policy to borrow your money they should refund you, interest free, while you fight for hard earned dollars

Update: Someone or something probs a autobot responded to this and I could not respond back - they said they were trying to contact through Facebook- this is a lie
They also gave a website I could contact - I did this days ago and have heard back from corporate or any human on the local level

Read moreGot in restaurant, we seated ourselves and waited 15 minutes before anyone approached us to take any orders for drinks or food. When we was finally approached by a lady, she'd stated that it was her 3rd day and she would have to have my menu to know what come on our order. After giving our order thinking we are getting fixing to eat after a long day..... nope! My wife gets a diet drink instead of the drink she requested,and I took water , thank goodness!! Due to over hearing about the other guests that had been there for hr and still was waiting on their order😯. It was then that I knew my wife and I's dinner may not make it anytime soon. And we hadn't eaten all day due we were traveling ALL day,trying to get bk down south to our home. Which was still 3 1/2 hrs to go.... Note that our first waitress completely disappeared from our site the ENTIRE rest of our visit. It had appeared she was fired, and two tables had gotten comped on the huddle house. And we paid for ours... After this disarray that occurred in the restaurant and the poor waitress apologizing instead of the manager, is beyond me. I will say this, it was our first experience in this restaurant, and it wasn't a good impression of wanting you to return bk though. Just saying Although a sweet little girl named kee kee was WONDERFUL at trying to get our order to us and make the rest of our experience better than it had been. While others continuously walking out because the first waitress completely forgot about orders and all. Poor kee kee had to do the managers dirty work!!
