KFC — Restaurant in Alexandria

8/9/23 I am really appreciative of the large improvement in both the quality and service at KFC. I don’t know if customer reviews made a difference but I am grateful for the change. I highly recommend that everyone steers clear of KFC until they improve their food and service. Let me start with my recent experience: I ordered the three piece chicken meal, but was extremely disappointed. The chicken was undercooked, the coating was gummy, and it had a strange taste. This is unacceptable for a well-known fast-food chain like KFC.

Furthermore, the wait times were unreasonably long. No customer should have to wait 30 minutes for their food. It is frustrating and inconvenient, especially if you are in a rush. Additionally, my family's orders were all incorrect, which leads me to question the competence of the employees. It is undeniable that KFC once had fantastic original recipe chicken and great-tasting food. But those days seem to be long gone. I love KFC, and I hate to give a bad rating. I guess the employees cannot do anything about the tiny chicken in this store. The breasts were large in my 16-piece order, but the thighs, legs, and wings were just so tiny. For 16 pieces of chicken this is ridiculous. I got very hard french fries, they were the last in the vat/ container, and they probably should have been thrown away. A few of the employees were friendly. I have had bad experiences at the Pineville store. And I will not be going back to the Alexandria store. So I'm done with KFC in this area. If this is the food that KFC has decided to stick with then I will just go to the local Walmart or any supermarket deli and get better chicken than this! I got this for a family dinner, I had to pick up an additional eight piece from a supermarket to feed my six family members. We are all light eaters. Not very clean, but for KFC that is not why I eat here. The Colonel's recipe is the reason you eat here. They have added a lot of great sauces for the strips which you can also get on the chicken on the bone. The Nashville Hot Sauce is not for the faint of heart, don't let grandma eat this. But the Smokey Mountain BBQ is great for anyone. I really enjoy the new HOT HONEY Sauce. Perfect balance of heat and sweet. My only problem with KFC dates back almost a decade. The menu item formally known as the "The Twister" is something they should bring back. 3 Strips in a flour tortilla with diced tomatoes and lettuce with a peppered mayo sauce or chipotle sauce.
