Iāve come here a few times and have never had any issues, but tonight was the worst experience Iāve ever had anywhere and, with the āmanagerā apparently. At the drive-thru, I ordered a āQuarter Pounder with cheese and bacon, no cheeseā exactly as worded on the menu (obviously, besides the āno cheeseā part). The order taker was rude, but I ignored it. At the window, I paid $10 cash and didnāt want change. A polite young man brought my food, but it was wrongāno bacon. He apologized, suggesting maybe the āmanagerā didnāt listen,ā while showing that the ticket doesnāt mention bacon. I told him no apologies necessary, itās not your fault.ā And thanked him. Then I returned to the window. Of course I was a little upset because I didnāt receive what I ordered and had been craving all day, but I wasnāt looking for any issue. I simply just wanted the order I initially ordered and was still willing to pay the price difference regardless of the mistake. When I got to the window the lady (āmanagerā) gave me a dirty look and insisted my order was correct. I explained my order and even how I stated it and why I stated it how I did, but she rudely interrupted suggesting I pay $1.99 for a side of bacon without even looking to see the price difference. I argued, willing to pay the price difference for my original order, but not for a side order of bacon (which would typically be and is more) After a frustrating argument of her telling me āitās more for baconā and myself continuing to explain that Iām fine with paying the difference and her still arguing with me, we sorted out the price (which seemed reasonable without having to look it up myself). The bacon took at least 5 minutes, and when she handed me the food, her unsettling smile and sudden change of demeanor made me distrust it. I donāt usually agree that āthatā exists outside of movies being someone who has been in hospitality my whole life on every end of the industry, but this is the first time ever where i truly feel that I shouldāve said ānever mindā altogether and asked for a refund, giving back the food, and telling them to throw it away, because I simply didnāt trust it in my gut. I paid $11.46 and didnāt even trust to eat it, all because the manager didnāt listen to my order and couldnāt just take accountability. I didnāt want free food like she acted, I just wanted what I ordered. Paying the price difference and getting what I ordered despite the mess up while also just simply being treated like a human being was all I wanted. I donāt wish this feeling or treatment on anyone. If I could explain further without this box having a limit, I would, but I had to shorten it as much as possible. Just for this experience, If I could rate 0 stars and still warn about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had an incredibly disheartening experience at that local McDonald's restaurant that I feel compelled to share. My friend and I decided to visit this particular McDonald's for a quick meal, expecting the usual fast and friendly service that we've become accustomed to at other locations. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met.
Upon attempting to place our order, the staff not only refused to take it, but also began to mock us in Spanish. This blatant disrespect left us feeling shocked and uncomfortable. We asked for the manager, hoping that she would resolve the situation. However, she provided a less than satisfactory explanation, stating that all the staff members had "mental issues." This response seemed both unprofessional and dismissive, leaving us with little confidence in the staff's ability to handle the situation.
Despite our concerns, we ultimately decided to place our order. The staff continued to act strangely throughout the process, further increasing our uneasiness. When we finally received our food, we couldn't shake the suspicion that something might have been tampered with. After taking just one bite of my ice cream and my friend having a sip of his coffee, we decided that it would be best to discard our entire order.
Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend visiting this McDonald's location. The staff's behavior and the manager's lack of concern for our well-being were incredibly disappointing. We expect more from a brand that prides itself on customer service and satisfaction, and hope that McDonald's will address these issues to prevent future negative experiences for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnly been here a couple of times during weekdays in the late morning. That weird twilight time between breakfast and lunch. There were always lines but I would not call the place crowded. There was always a lot of empty tables - I assume most people are ordering to go. Also, being still kind of empty in the day, its pretty clean. The crew is bilingual and pretty quick. There were no mistakes with any of my orders. They have a few televisions on the walls with the volume set at a reasonable level but you can easily find a quiet spot to sit if you want. When I sat next to one it was showing a news channel so that was a change from all the sports channels most places have on their TVs. The food was okay for fast food. If you went to McDonald's for healthy food with no sugar, no salt, and low calories, well, you might want to go someplace else. Still, you could try one of the chicken or fish sandwiches. It is right next to the Alexandria Health Care Center. I go there for check ups and to have my blood checked. So I have to fast for 12 hours. Afterwards I need food and this place gives me what I need - calories, sugar, and protein. Also pretty close to the bus stops. Update - been here a few more times, including afternoon, and the staff is still friendly, the food okay for fast food, the restrooms are clean, and still not crowded. The staff even smiles at me when greeting me which may be because I smile when I greet people. Even used one of those coupons you get when doing online survey and got a Egg McMuffin free! How can...
