My review is ONLY for the "Pick-Up" Service. On 3/4/2021 I placed an order before 1:00 pm due to me not feeling well and not wanting to go inside the store while under the weather. I was given a pick up time between 5:00-6:00 pm. I arrived at 5:00 pm and per the young lady bringing grocery out, my order wasn't ready but the guy inside was getting it ready now. Within the 40 minutes of me sitting there waiting 6 to 7 more vehicles pull in, get their orders and drive off. I asked two of the customers when their orders were placed, one said the day before and the other said around 2:00 pm. By this time I had called inside the store and asked to speak to a manager to see what was going on. I was placed on hold and no one ever returned to the phone....literally on hold for 25 minutes with no one checking in or coming back to the phone. When the young lady came back outside, I asked her if she could get me a manager (It was after 6:00 pm by this time and my son and I hadn't been home yet after my work day and his school day...so he was antsy due to him having to go to the restroom). The young lady and a manger comes out about 5 minutes later (I'm still on hold from calling inside 25 minutes earlier by the way). The manger allowed me to explain the situation and then asked the young lady how many more people were ahead of me (there were still 6 more orders ahead of mine). She stated they were behind and that's why I didn't get an email saying my order was ready. I told her that I didn't get an email stating there were any delays with my order and a new pick up time would be necessary either. I wasted 1hr and 30 min of my time sitting at Sams when the lady bringing the grocery out KNEW my order wouldn't be ready anytime soon. Needless to say I was really upset. I asked to have my order canceled and left. When I got home, and calmed down I decided to place my order again, but for pick up the next evening. The next day right as I was driving to Sams to just go into the store and get the things I needed because it was 2 minutes until my pick up time and I still hadn't received an email saying my order was ready again.....I received the email as I was pulling into the parking lot. My order was brought out, but two things were missing. I didn't receive any emails or notifications that my entire order wouldn't be fulfilled. Needless to say, I'll NEVER use this service again. Customers aren't informed when things they ordered aren't available and they aren't told when there will be a delay with...
Read moreIf there was a no star option I would click it. I have never left a review like this but I am absolutely dumbfounded by my experience. Horrible customer service. Very unfriendly customer policy where you cannot shop before 10 am unless you pay for a premium plus membership on top of your original membership. I am a business owner in the Cenla Area. Our business has used Sams Club for nearly 10 years. This morning we went to buy business supplies as usual. When we approached the register for checkout, the cashier informed us that we needed to upgrade to the next level membership if we wanted to purchase our merchandise before 10 am. He assured us that the $40.00 upgrade would cover all members cards on our account and that we wouldn’t have to renew for 1yr. So upon having two shopping carts loaded down with supplies, we went ahead and purchased the upgrade simply to checkout. Upon our purchase we found out from customer service that the upgrade was only good for the primary member and none of the other members were upgraded. Also the upgrade would expire by July 2019 which is well under 1 yr. Spoke with two managers. They were inconsiderate and the only thing they agreed to do was refund our $40 fee but make us come back and repurchase the merchandise after 10 am. We asked Customer service to leave the carts with our supplies right where they were and they agreed. When we came back shortly after 10 am, they were not there and someone apparently thought they were returns. The new policy is rediculous and the customer service at Sams Club in Alexandria is...
Read moreWe came to Sam’s today and when we walked in, we’re not greeted and my husband had to go to the parking lot just to get a basket.... no big deal, that’s not why we came. We do our shopping, and go check out with about $400 worth of goods. As we’re leaving the checkout line, the young lady standing/ working across from the check out lines gives my family and I the nastiest go to Hell look. I almost went over and asked what her problem was, but decided it wasn’t worth it. The lady checking receipts at the door let SEVERAL older people out of the doors without checking their receipts. She proceeds to check our basket and takes wire a bit longer on us. As soon as she’s done with our basket and we’re walking off, we’re immediately questioned by yet another staff member( in an accusing manner) if we’ve been checked. I can’t with this place, and today is today we decided not to renew our membership. Instead of treating us as valued clients, everyone we encountered today treated us poorly. Too busy minding other people’s business and being rude to customers to even bring their carts in. I wonder how many customers this Particular Sam’s has lost, because ours back home isn’t Iike this one. Y’all have definitely lost our business and I’ll be sure to tell people not to come...
