I had placed a mobile order for delivery and I waited about 40 minutes before calling to request a cancellation, as I had to leave, I would’ve placed pick up order if I had known it would’ve taken so long. I had called and explained my concerns, I should’ve known to speak to a manager in the beginning, I didn’t. I try to express my concerns to shift manager ‘Xavier, he had cut me off mid sentence to let me know he was already told.. I explained to him how rudely it was to cut a paying customer off being a manager, he should’ve let me voice my concern and then responded, didn’t work like that. I then again began to speak and he cut me off again saying “she already told me this, I don’t know why you are telling me again…” very very unprofessionally rude being as he is a shift manager. Excuse was they were short staffed, I ordered the day prior as well, as he wouldn’t let me explain and it was the same thing just about 25 minutes before leaving the store with my order.. long delivery times. If I didn’t have newborn twins at home I would’ve just swung by and grabbed lunch. Very disappointed as I order from jimmy johns all of the time.. twice at this location and NEVER AGAIN! This manager in this store belittling paying customers and taking his authority as manager to the extreme and believes he can speak to anyone in any manner he chooses, incredibly embarrassing as he is the face to your store during shifts. I don't know who trained you XAVIER, but you sound like a 19yo with no direction in life. Hope Jimmy Johns isn't your future but the way you speak to others, seems like this is the fit for you! NEVER AGAIN! Save your time and money in this area, check out Jersey Mikes or any other sandwich...
Read moreThis manager is working his butt off! I came in for lunch and saw a sign for a new potato salad and asked if he knew whether it was gluten free. He said he wasn’t sure, and I told him not to worry about it since I know they’re freaky fast and I didn’t want to slow them down. I placed my order and then he pulled out the container so I could look at the ingredients and determine if I could eat it (I could). Then he asked what I look for in the ingredients so he could answer the question for customers about other products in the future (yes, GF ally! 😆). So I get my food and sit down and a few minutes later, he brings me a side of the potato salad to try! And it was delicious! He checked with me on the way out to see if I tried and liked it. So I'm minding my own business and tell me why half way through my sandwich, I find A HAIR. That's right! A long stringy HAIR in the middle of my delicious #4 sandwich. So naturally I call up Jimmy John's and tell them what happened. They say okay we'll bring you a new sandwich (no offense, but I've kind of lost my appetite by now).. But I agree anyways. Within minutes, they call me back and ask for my half eaten sandwich. What???????? So they bring me a new sandwich and I give them my half eaten one.
