Lucy's Yard — Restaurant in Allen

Placed an online pick up order and stated that it would be ready by 9:46 AM and they open by 9 AM. Arrived five minutes before and no one greeted me. I started to look through their windows and it seemed like no one was there. I knocked on their windows and called their phone number multiple times, but no one was answering. Their sign stated that they were open and their website said they were open, so I do not understand why no one was there. After 15 minutes of waiting, knocking and no callbacks or no one answering, I had to leave. This was beyond unprofessional. You should not be open at a certain time if you’re not ready for your customers, I expect a full refund.

Update: Finally was able to pick up my order after 11am. When arrived they stated they don’t open until 11am; even though on google states they open at 9am and when I was there at 9:45am there open sign was on. Got home to see that they got my order WRONG. They were supposed to be boneless wings. This place needs to get...

Driving by what used to be Mutts, we noticed people with dogs near the entrance and thought maybe they were finally open again. We pulled into the parking lot to check it out, but were immediately greeted by a very rude woman who told us we were on private property and needed to leave.

Instead of politely informing us that they're still closed and offering any sort of update--or even just a friendly "we hope to see you when we open"--we were met with unnecessary hostility. It was extremely off-putting, especially as someone who was genuinely excited about supporting the business once they opened.

Based on this experience, I have no interest in returning now that they're open. There are plenty of other spots in the area that understand how to treat potential customers...

Glad that this spot got reopened by new Management as Lucy‘s Yard. It’s a great location and can be a great venue if run properly with its location south side of Waters Creek and really near all the apartments.

Current management really needs to clean up the back yard area which had been not used in several years and is very rundown. New management added a concrete pad for a band out in back, there is good shade both in front and back which also has a lot of sun if that’s what you want. I’m sure Management will work out all the kinks in the next couple months so I’ll revisit and reevaluate for a higher score when they’ve...
