Snappy Salads Watters Creek — Restaurant in Allen

I currently work walking distance to the Snappy Salad in Watters Creek. Our old office was right next to a Salata, so me and about 5 of my coworkers got into the routine of that being our default lunch for years, so when we moved to this office in Watters Creek, we just switched to grabbing Snappy about 3 times a week. The food was good, but I got slowly worn down and annoyed with getting charged .50c for any additional topping after the 4 that comes with the “build your own wrap” and vowed to never return one day after I was charged $2 in additional toppings which probably cost about 5 cents. For the ownership: 1) None of your competitors charge this way. Just charge me more and allow me to get whatever vegetable toppings I want 2) It’s awkward for everyone. Your staff looks like they’re doing mental math while adding up my topping count, and I feel like I’m haggling over a transaction I don’t want to think about in the first place, and 3) it’s cost this store my $12 meal at 3 times per week for 50 weeks per year about $1800 in revenue and my other 5 coworker also very rarely go now so it probably cost this location about 10k a year in revenue. Came here for the first time with a friend at lunch hour to try their salads. It's on a corner lot so there was a nice outdoor patio and ample seating inside. We came for takeout. It was a Tuesday afternoon, and it was not busy. When we got there we were not greeted. The employees did see us, but just did not greet. We stood at the beginning of the salad queue for five minutes before anything was said to us. Finally someone took our order. My friend and I both had the grilled avocado salad with pulled chicken. When we got home and unpacked it, it was a good amount of greens and good sized half avocado and chicken. The salad was very flavorful and for the amount of salad I thought it was a good value. The leaves were fresh and crisp. The vinaigrette was very good. I really didn't like the pulled chicken, I thought it was kind of flavorless but that was my choice. I think I will choose a different kind like grilled chicken or a different protein next time. I really did like the salad though. The customer service that day was not that great but nowadays employees have to deal with a lot of flak from customers so maybe they were just having an off day. Totally understand. We're all human. Came in to catch a lunch with my friend. Got Chimichurri Steak salad with no modifications, apart from asking them to use Balsamic Vinegar. The man taking everyones orders was incredibly rushed, seemed as they were trying to do everything, and visibly rushing me and other guests during their ordering process. I distinctly and clearly told him "Instead of the sauce I want plain balsamic vinegar". He put vinaigrette on my salad and mixed it in. That is 200 calories I was actively trying to avoid by asking for vinegar, and one rushed employee not listening ruined it for me. I would have got the main sauce it came with if I had that many calories to waste. Furthermore they were literally snapping their fingers at the lady behind me as she was trying to spit out her order at the speed this man was trying to get customer to keep up with.
