Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Alliance

I bought 4 subs from Jimmy John's today in Alliance, OH. The bread and crust on two of the subs were so hard you could pound nails with it. We took back over half the subs and asked for a refund. The clerk said they do not give refunds but would give us another sandwich. We didn't want another "hard sub" and asked again for a refund. The clerk went back to ask the manager and he/she refused to refund us and the manager never bothered to come out and talk to us. Such a pity; Jimmy John's just lost 4 customers for life. This is a review I do not like writing. Jimmy John's is my favorite place in the world for subs. However the one in Alliance, Ohio has not been so good lqately. The food is still great, but the service through the drive-thru is atrocious and slow. First you can hardly hear the person on the inside through the speaker. In addition, my last three visits have been disappointing as each time they have managed to get my sandwich completely wrong. Arrived at 6:45pm today. All tables and booths were in middle so they could clean. They are open till 9pm. While trying to give order, booths and benches were being scooted back in place. Extremely loud and rude. Had to ask they stop so we could order. Received order, sat to eat. Cleaning continued with sweeping of floor right beside us. We picked up our subs and ate in our car.
