Crepevine — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

This was our first visit as we wanted to check out the menu. We had planned to go to one of the restaurants next door. However, upon seeing the menu, we thought to give this place a try. We are SO GLAD we did! This place is an excellent choice. Whether you want to eat healthy, eat indulgently or just grab breakfast, lots of options. Plus they’re not fussed about and will work to please your palate.

We went with about 45 minutes to close, without realizing it, but you’d never think so. They were not rushed at all. There was a steady stream of guests, including families with children and teens.

We ordered a vegetarian and a Greek. I wanted all the veges and took a vegetarian Patti as well. There is a choice of six sauces, and a few cheeses.

The place was staffed with Isaac, Shanie and Demetrius. Initially, I thought they were owners, because Isaac and Shanie were cooking with so much love and gentle precision. Everything is fresh and they will assemble the crepe in front of you, so you can request less or more according to preference. I loved my crepe!

My vegetarian was absolutely delicious, I can’t believe how much I enjoyed it, and that a crepe coukd be such a healthy dinner. The crepes are very well priced, and they even have a salad for $3.99! The crepes here were absolutely delicious. My friend and I ate in, which was very spacious and tidy, and each had a savory and dessert crepe. The food was filling and more than reasonably priced. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful however there was one who wasn't and he was bad enough to go from 5 stars to 4 stars. He was the apparent "manager" and from the moment we walked in to the moment we left he spent the entire time berating his staff. He kept complaining about them not being responsible or having good enough work ethic. He also said "but that's all I'll say about that" approximately half a dozen times while he continued to complain to the staff about their 'ethic'. Customers at one point were kept waiting when he continued to complain to his staff they didn't do their jobs well, as he kept them from doing their jobs! He seemed to be the only one causing problems in the store. The rest of the staff was lovely but the manager with the scruffy mustache was absolutely terrible and shouldn't be in a manager position with how he was treating the staff. He definitely seemed like someone who was promoted recently and is trying to "prove" to himself that he's the boss in the worst was possible. I am not one to judge a book by its cover; but sometimes you have no option.

My wife claims this place is good because she ate there twice. However, we have attempted to eat there together with our two daughters 3 timesand but could not. I believe I am giving up after 3 attempts. The first try, they were out of gluten free crepe mix (we figured this was not their fault. The second time we called ahead and were told on the phone that they had gluten free crepe mix. Upon arrival they told us they were out of the mix and that it would take to long to make.

We just left disappointed.
