I came in @9pm last night(08/30/24) to grab a quick meal. When I walked in the first person I encountered was sweeping and did not greet me. As well as the person prepping the meals. I’m new to the area and have grown to like the restaurant for its affordability and flavor. Despite the many options around the store I’ve chosen this place. After not being greeted by no one in the restaurant the preparer made a mistake on putting my sauce over my meal as I requested it in the side. I could see she didn’t hear from but her demeanor after the fact was not pleasant. She remade my bowl and continued her negative attitude. Then when I got to pay—the person who was sweeping which I assume was the manager that night finally uttered words to me regarding payment and napkins and utensils are in the bag. The other days I’ve come I’ve been greeted or at least given a smile. I understand that people have bad days but this group was not very welcoming. I contemplated on writing this review because maybe I was expecting too much from the staff but when I went on corporate site it states that guest will be greeted “with a warm welcome”. I’m writing this review for the sole purpose of awareness on customer service and when workers aren’t feeling well it’s best that there be a switch in whose in the front so guests can continue to enjoy coming into the establishment. You never know whose going to walk in and be willing to write a...
Read moreI am giving this review based off of only one visit to this particular location. I give this location 3 stars after visiting it one time. I give Qdoba as a whole 4 stars, after eating at different locations about 7 times in the past few months. I give this location 3 stars because the customer service was somewhat lacking. The cashier, upon asking for chips to go with my entree, did not mention that there is no salsa that comes with the chips unless you pay extra for salsa. Being that this is a "Mexican grill" and most Mexican places give you chips and salsa complimentary, I found it odd and pretty rude that they made me feel as if it was my fault and thay I was stupid for not realizing that my tortilla chips would not automatically come with salsa. To add insult to injury, they gave me the tiniest scoop of tortilla chips to go with my order. Their crew members need to be trained in how to treat customers. Other than that, the food at Qdoba is usually good 4 star quality (that I prefer over Moe's Southwestern Grill, but not quite as good quality as Chipotle), and although the quality of meat may not be as good as Chipotle, the taste of the food and the guacamole is as good...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting Qdoba. The food was pretty good and we would be happy to have it again... so, why two stars? The woman who seemed to be the manager on duty had a very unpleasant demeanor and was rude to my partner and our friend. We didn’t see any signs indicating where we should place our orders, and she sternly pointed us in the right direction. When my partner ordered his food, she had trouble hearing him and shouted “what you don’t speak!?”... I was astonished. While this was going on, another worker came from the back with some ground beef, and went to put it down. She rebuked him and said “you know that’s not where that goes!”. After we paid, and sat down, she kept staring at us. My partner asked if we were allowed to eat inside because we couldn’t figure out why she was staring, and another worker said we could. She continued to stare at us while we ate. While we were eating, we could here her reprimanding the same male worker, and then complaining about mobile orders while holding onto a paper towel dispenser in frustration. It was a very bizarre experience. We will definitely eat at Qdoba again, just not...
