Our server, Maci, was an absolute GEM! We love coming to Bubba’s 33 because the good food and lively, loud environment are actually a great fit for our family—especially our autistic son, who gets plenty of sensory input from the surroundings. It's become our go-to spot.
We visited after my oldest daughter got married, and not only did Maci give a big, cheerful shout-out to the newlyweds, but she also went above and beyond in accommodating our son. We came in during the busy Sunday afternoon rush with a large party and were seated in the bar area at a tall table. My son is used to sitting in booths, and when he saw the high-top seating, he became visibly upset.
Right away, Maci offered one of her empty booths just for him if he needed it. I initially declined, thinking he wouldn't want to sit alone—but after a few minutes, I could tell he truly needed his own space. He ended up sitting at the booth by himself, happily snacking and using his iPad, within our view.
Maci not only delivered excellent service all around but also checked in multiple times to see if my son needed anything. She was so kind, understanding, and thoughtful.
Sometimes people think small gestures are no big deal—but as a mother of a child with disabilities, I can tell you: those small acts of kindness make a huge difference. I wanted to make sure Maci and Bubba’s 33 get the recognition they deserve—not just for great food and service, but for being a place where families like mine, who don’t always fit into “standard boxes,” can feel welcomed and accepted.
Thank you, Maci and Bubba’s 33, for creating that...
Read moreDo not go to bubbas if you have a large party! We had a big party going to bubbas and I called hours before to see if I could reserve, couldn’t reserve.. so I showed up 45 min before my party arrive to give them time to accommodate us. The front hosts asked if we wanted to sit on the patio due to it being the fastest way to seat us I replied no with it being 102 outside I don’t think any of us would enjoy sitting out side. I also informed her if we had to wait it was no big deal. After listening to her argue with her manager about why we aren’t being seated out side we just sat down and let them deal with it. After a while she asked us for two choices one we can sit in a room we’re it would be very packed in or we could wait another 10 min for this table to finish. We obviously chose the table that wasn't jam packed. I guess she had already told the other hostess to make the table for us that was packed so when we picked the other spot it was immediately an eye roll… right in front of us. Managers had attitude with this poor girl who was doing her best to work with us and accommodate us. We sent over 300$ on our party and left a huge tip for our waitress. I understand the bussiness like this with large parties is stressful as I used to work in this industry but the way the managers and her other hostess handle it was very unprofessional and I will never eat here again.. very unprofessional and very rude.. the managers shouldn’t be acting like the brat hostesses who thinks rolling their eyes in front of the customers is okay… bubbas needs to get...

We did have a large party (12), which caused a long wait - but this was to be expected and no concern to us. You can only do online reservation for 6 or less. Called to get our name on the list, waited over 12 minutes to hold music and no one came to the line.
Hannah was our server - very friendly and attentive - good service. Drinks were consistently filled.
The reason for the low review: The food is mostly HORRIBLE! Chicken from California chicken - the chicken was hard to bite through, made crunch sound when biting, yet it was grilled chicken. Possibly undercooked? The queso was served on a skillet but not warm, like not at all. It was like they used a hot skillet, put a cold spoonful of queso on it, expecting the skillet to heat it up. it was cold, clumpy, simply gross.
Pizza was beyond basic - you would be better with a frozen pizza cooked at home.
If debating on other restaurants in the area, go with something else. Taco Villa and Burger King are better and will have safer fully cooked food.
Also, it is extremely loud in here. Unable to hold conversation with people...
