So I actually visited mid August of 2018 but forgot to write this horrible review due to classes. I remember this moment perfectly and seriously hope they’ve changed something but this was by far the worst chick fil a ever. My friend and I were driving on i40 to go back to school and decided to stop and have dinner, we both love chick fil a and it’s never lead us in the wrong direction UNTIL THIS PLACE! First of all the employees were SO rude, we didn’t get a simple “my pleasure,” was this even a real chick fil a? We asked for a cup of ice for the dog we were traveling with and they basically told us we had to pay for the cup and made a big deal about it. We don’t mind paying for the cup but why make a big deal about it? I also asked for an iced coffee with no cream (the one I go to at home handles this so I didn’t think it was a big deal) BUT IT WAS!! They told me they couldn’t do it because it was all pre-made and I was shook, so I told them to just pour some regular coffee over ice which of course was asking too much. Sadly this isn’t where the troubles end, I wanted chick fil a sauce and my pal wanted ketchup (also, at our local chick fil a they usually give us two to three sauces each) well they only gave us one and so we asked for another but of course we had to put up a fight to get it. I’m pretty sure we won that but it doesn’t even matter because WE DIDN’T EVEN EAT OUR NUGGS!!! So long anticipated but here’s the worst part, the chicken was awful. I don’t even know how to describe the horrendous flavor, it almost, I mean like very very close to ruining chick fil a for me for good.. (don’t worry I’m back to eating at my local one weekly) I would like to do my best to describe this smell and taste of the chicken, just know it gets graphic... Imagine the taste of an old car tire plus a lot of tar, with a side of old grease, and maybe some sweat from Thanos... If that doesn’t sound awful then I’m sorry, you should go to a doctor. Of course we didn’t anticipate the horrendous flavor based off of the awful smell of the interior (that was a mistake, it smelt like sewer, a bar from the 20s and fermented hopes and dreams.) We didn’t try to consume these nuggs and rubber waffles until a little down I40 when we realized that it was actually toxic. How did we figure out it was toxic? Well the dog saw food, he smelt it and even gagged before leaving us alone (he LOVES chick fil a fries!!!) oh and it tasted so bad I almost threw up my brain. Needless to say, we “fed” the earth by throwing it out the window to avoid the nauseating smell. And by “fed” I do mean polluting the earth because that stuff was NASTTTTYYY!!! So ya.. I’m still very scared from this moment. In fact, I’m so traumatized that I was talking about it with my pal and her dog that I decided almost 9 months later I would finally let the world know of this disgraceful place that has stolen the chick fil a sign.
Side note: I totally never ended up with the coffee, they kept adding the cream and ya I watched them add it... it’s fine though. I’m over it. (I’m totally not over it)
If you’ve made it through this painful post, thank you for reading and I truly hope you’re experience is much better than mine was. I wouldn’t wish those toxic nuggs on my...
Read moreNormally, I’ve had great experiences at this Chick-fil-A but today (04/19/22) when I went with my mom around 4:25pm I pulled up to the drive thru intercom I was immediately asked for my name in which I provided and proceeded with my order, before I could even finish my order I was rudely interrupted by the person on the intercom asking if that was all, before I could even finish my order. I then said no I still have more to my order, she then signed and said go ahead with an attitude. Ignoring the attitude, I proceeded to tell her the rest of my order, once I finished she repeated is that it (keep in mind, I only had two meals within my order, wasn’t much for her to be this impatient and rude) I said yes that’s it and said thank you and with her attitude she said “my pleasure” in the most uncalled for way. I pull up to the drive thru window and the girl with red hair says a completely different name and I’m like the order’s for Leslie. She barely tries to look around for my order as if they never took it. At this point, I’m already annoyed with their customer service and ask for the person who took my order, she says she doesn’t know and asks why and I’m just like well they had an attitude that was honestly uncalled for and I didn’t appreciate that so if you can’t “find” my order I’ll be on my way but I’ll be leaving a review on this and reporting it in…I’m a server so I know the stress it can put on people but that doesn’t give you a right to immediately treat someone so rudely. Sad to say, I won’t be going to this...
Read moreDefinitely one of the busiest Chic-Fil-A locations I have ever been to. I did come at rush hour and there was quite the wait for my food but if the food is great I will wait! Restaurant and tables were clean but packed with people.
I came in with the desire to try the new limited time Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, and the seasonal caramel crumble shake. I ordered a large fry, and it was hot and filled to the brim. They were definitely over salted but I actually liked that since I'm used to their fries not having enough salt. I was also given three sauce packets without asking for extra and it was just me eating! The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich (it's a mouthful literally) was very delicious and quite surprised me on the first bite. In my opinion it's a big step up from the classic chicken sandwich. The pimento cheese sauce was very sweet and it blended well with the breaded chicken. I only had two jalapeños in my sandwich, so the spice was abysmal, but I could still taste some heat. The caramel crumble shake had the perfect amount of caramel in it, so it was more of a lighter taste which I preferred. The crumble in it made for a nice crunch, however I felt that the cookie amount in my shake was definitely lacking. In my opinion I think this new seasonal sandwich should be a permanent item on the menu as the sweet n spicy flavor just felt right on their chicken. Sandwich-...
