Ordered 3 items, cheese danish, Carmel brulĆ©e latte (hot), and a toasted white chocolate frappe. The barista was VERY nice! I couldnāt do any less stars than 3 because of how polite she was even though she PLAYED me. This kind woman has the biggest pair of balls Iāve seen on a food industry worker in a long time. I was given a peppermint frappe instead and decided I would go back to have it corrected. She admitted it was her mistake and took it back. Turned around before walking away, and asked if I wanted to keep it but said itās okay because I didnāt like it. They SCRAPEDā¦..the whipped cream off, put new whipped cream and new toppings, new lid and straw then returned it right back to me. The gangster part on her end was when she said āgo ahead and try it to see if you like itā. I said aww, thank you! Drank it, realized it was the exact same and was so shocked and surprised that I just replied āitās awesome, thank you so muchā. (I donāt remember my exact response but somewhere along those lines.) she came back really fast with the new drink, first sign. The exact same sticker is still on the cup with the same time stamp. I should have kept the original returned drink so I could throw it away and it came back to bite me in the rear end. Because I ended up with it any way. If the managers see this, donāt punish this woman. She got me good, and I just allowed it to happen. Maybe I could get a discount next time I come in though? No more tricks though please, Iāll ask for a military discount on Thursday...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmidst the holiday rush, this team is knocking out drinks left and right, however, they need to pay attention when the customer places a drink order. Three times I have ordered a "Hot Chai Tea" and every time I have received a Chai Latte... It is a waste of money for you and has cost me at least $8 by being overcharged. Suggestion, when taking an order imagine that you and the customer are on your first date. As we stand there and talk you listen intently not to miss anything.
Employees: Everyone was busy with the exception of the drive-thru attendant. This employee had their arms crossed waiting, for what I am not sure.
Space: This Starbucks has to be the busiest and the smallest Starbucks in Amarillo. Owners, it is time to spend some money on a larger store. Amarillo College and Tascosa High are right down the street. Just think of the potential revenue you can tap into by opening a larger shop.
Cleanliness: Need to work on the bathrooms, maybe cleaning them a few more times a day. Also, clean the tables more often. Maybe the drive-thru attendant could wipe a table while waiting for the drinks. (Just a thought)
Internet: I ran a speed test at each Starbucks and a few other coffee shops around town. This is by far the fastest internet that I have found so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to this location for a few weeks now and I order the same thing almost every time. It's a hit or miss for them to get the drink order right. The one experience that set me over the top was the fact that I told them my order was not set to my set standards through the phone app. Whenever I told the barista that my order is not like I ordered it, the barista told the "barista" that making the drinks that it was not right and I noticed that this barista's body language was not what a customer would want to see. He remade my order and it looked no different than when it was first available to me. I had no time to keep sending my drinks back and get the same thing. I left very frustrated and disappointed. It's not what I would expect from a world known coffee house. I understand that it is busy during the morning rush hour, but orders are orders and as a customer, one person shouldn't have to go through this. If you are in the area, the locally owned coffee house up the street will probably suit you better and their customer service is...
