I ordered from door dash several times in the past 8 months vegan French toast and have even called to compliment them on thier French toast. Well, I all my life have eaten French toast with powdered sugar because I dont care for syrup. And I'd always call before I ordered to make sure they put powdered sugar. Sometimes I would forget and low-and-behold there was a little plastic sealable lid with powdered sugar. So today I ordered vegan French toast of which I have called and told them how good it was and thank you for making it taste so food. So this morning was no different from any other time I ordered French toast from anywhere. I called and asked for powdered sugar. They said sure we will do that. I get my order no powdered sugar. I call up there and explain to them the mix up. Since I've ordered French toast off and on for the last 8 months. The vegan French toast. The only way I eat French toast. I end up speaking to the manager. He says he hasn't done powdered sugar in over 2 years. Hmmm, then someone on his team must had been giving me powdered sugar all this time. He tells me he's not gonna argue with me. And tells me not to order from there anymore right after that. I can only assume angels came down from the sky or powdered sugar gremlins put powdered sugar on my vegan French toast on the side all this time. To go from lying to a customer to telling them not to order from there in the same breath is crazy. I've been in hospitality for over 20 years in the Hotel business. I would never treat my guests like that. And since I'm apparently not welcome to order from them I won't. That's not how to deal with a customer who only eats thier FT with PS. And I have even called and praised them for their Vegan French Toast. But without the PS they usually give me it was average. I ate a half a piece and it didn't taste the same without the PS. I promise he has PS in his kitchen and it has been given to a buying customer me. The only way I eat French toast. Never tried to resolve the issue not once. Just told me not to order from there. That made me feel bad because I've called and told then how good the vegan Ft was. But I guess some people make mistakes like he did. I would never order FT without PS. In my entire life. Apparently some got to me from there and his ego couldn't see all the possible ways powdered sugar got into my order. And no I won't be ordering from there again. He acted like a disrespectful female dog. That you feed and bites your hand. Didn't introduce himself as any type of manager. He was very dismissive. I rarely do reviews unless it was great service especially the food doesn't have to taste great but that one experience you can turn dirt into gold is what should be strived for. I've gone above and beyond for my guests and would never handle a situation like this so despicable. No resolve, he didn't believe me, basically called me a liar. And this would never fly in a full service hotel where food is served. I rhought it was a lazy resolve just to get rid of a customer than try to keep one. You never know what the future holds. You should always listen to your money also known as paying customers. And make lasting impressions so you will be remembered not as the guy that says don't come back but how can I make this better for you and go from there. People have a need to be heard and sometimes listening is the best thing you can do then act on a resolution. Im just saying this...
Read moreMy wife and I came in for breakfast. The decor or is very positive and simple. The woman behind the counter was very nice. She explained that the food is cooked in the truck out back, and brought in, so it is all in "to go" containers. Looking at their menu, everything has pork. But she explained that anything can be substituted for vegan options. I explained that I didn't want vegan, but I also don't eat beef or pork. She offered a substitute of chicken as my protein. I ordered the Migas plate with chicken. While we waited, they had some good music playing (Cruising - Smokey Robinson) which made the already positive vibes even better. The food came out (or in?) in Styrofoam containers, which we were warned about, but is still a little bit off-putting. The food was actually VERY good. There was just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the flavors of the food. There were jalapeños, but not so many that they overpowered the rest of the dish. The smashed beans were my wife's favorite. The chef came in and talked to us for a little while. He told us about their sangria and their mimosa bar that they have on Saturdays. He gave my wife some samples and she wound up getting a sangria... which means it was really good. On our way out, we noticed that there were colored pencils and pictures to color on one of the tables... something for the kids to do while they...
Read moreWow, so good! Was not expecting much for vegan food in this part of the country but was pleasantly surprised to see this truck pop up in my Google search. There is an amazing full vegan menu!! I was greated by the super nice owner who told me about the vegan options. You can tell he has a passion for food and the ingredients he uses by the way he describes the items 😀 I got a breakfast burrito and pancakes with a homemade strawberry sauce. It was made fast and very fresh! The pancakes were delightful and I'm really glad I added the strawberry sauce 😋 The burrito was one of the best I've ever had! Vegan cheese, egg, bacon, sausage, potatoes with really great, fresh green and red salsas to go with it! I took a detour to come here and I'm so glad I did. Amazing freshness and quality ingredients for the price and speed. So happy I got to support this vegan friendly business. Will be back for sure if I'm ever near...
