From the moment I walked in I was greeted with warmth by the lovely Sydney, who accomodated me with a single table since I was dinning alone. She immediately brought me a menu, slices of sourdough bread and the creamest roasted garlic in an olive oil that had me just in pure love with the savors. I ordered a Hawians apple which has just the right amount of sweetness to join the creamy salty flavors of the roasted garlic. For a pizza I went with a medium "Radar Love" minus the meat and extra Basil. As I awaited my pizza and other server Nevaeh came by the table with Sydney and kept a great conversation til pizza was ready. The crust was toasted to perfection in the hearth oven manned by to Artisan chefs. All ingredients were recognizable with not anyone out weighting the other. I promise you this pizza didn't have a chance.😀 Sydney finally suggested dessert, which I couldn't refuse since everything up until this moment was just awesome. She brought me a pair of conolis drizzled with chocolate and pistachios and it brought me back to places like "Yolondas" in The Bronxs I use to eat at as a child with my Dad and uncle. Hands down the best Armirillo has to offer in a Pizzeria styled restaurant. I love the place, the people, the service, the cleanliness and not to forget the music. I will return again as soon as time permits. Update: Time permitted me to visit again this evening of October 15th,2025. Nevaeh greeted me as an old companion who lost his way from good pizza, a prodigal returning to the warmth of the hearth oven, good music (The Cranberries, RIP Delores O"riordan) and awesome energy. Taylor's infectious smile made all entering smile as well. I was to enamored with the ambiance and food to take pictures this trip but I promise you, Nomad is Armirillo's #1 Pizzeria, hands...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service! We upset the server by ordering our pizza on the build it yourself menu. We just wanted pepperoni, Canadian bacon and sausage. She insisted we would be better off ordering the meat pizza and leaving off one of the four toppings. I was confused by her explanation and said however you want to do it as long as it is cheaper. I watched her shake her head at me as she walked away from our table. She had another server bring our pizza to us. She never came back to our table until our meal was over to ask if we needed anything else. My husband asked if he could have a refill and she angrily snatched his drink and actually sighed loudly. She had the other server bring him the drink and give us the check. She never checked to see if the order was right- she totally passed us on to another server. I saw her give him our ticket as she was talking about us. I will honestly say I have never been treated that poorly by a server. As I was sitting there I heard her tell the other server, “If they don’t sit in the bar, I’m not serving them.” to other patrons who had arrived. To top it off when I asked the server that replaced her if my tip was going to her or him, he said, I mean, does it matter? He then said I shouldn’t tell you this but she said you had an attitude. I never saw a manager walk by or I would have taken it up with them. It was unbelievable. Sad thing was, the pizza was great. I think I would have enjoyed frequenting this restaurant. Absolute worst customer service I have...
Read moreIf I could give this place a 10 star review that would still be a low ball review. This place is wonderful! After taking care of some business downtown, my mother, son, and I wanted to find some nearby place for a celebratory lunch. We decided Nomad Napolentana was the place to be. It was after 3 when we stepped in, and after a nervous moment of seeing no one inside who looked like they would seat us, we stood debating if we should go somewhere else. Then, from some place in the back, a lovely lady came out apologizing and sat us down immediately, fixed us all up with something to drink themgave us plenty of time to make our choices while also going over their off menu specials for the day. She was wonderful! She kept our drinks full and brought out the most amazing food I've had in a long time. Not expecting too much from a pizza place, but knowing it must be good from the smell, we ate our two pizzas with gusto. My mom enjoyed her salad while sneaking a couple slices of pizza from each of us. The food is fantastic and super fresh, from fresh spinach and mushrooms on my pizza to the incredible tomato sauce and bites of sausage and green peppers on the other pie. Amazing! Then came our downfall. The Cannolis! OMG just order them. Do us all a favor and order them. Your diet will understand. Your mouth will thank you later. Great local place to eat! Highly recommended! Just go and thank me later! No photos because we were animals and technology is above our lizard brains when it...
