Valore Italian Restaurant and Grill — Restaurant in Amarillo

Came to Valore for our anniversary redo dinner and they delivered 100%. This place is fantastic. Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. Live music Friday nights.

Came in early on a Friday and was seated immediately. We received fresh hot twisty bread with hot marinara. Our server Claudia was on point. Drinks out the gate and crab cakes for an appetizer in right away. The crab cakes came out hot and fresh with a generous bowl of creamy parm sauce. Service was quick again as the app came before we had even figured out what we wanted to order. We ordered the Creamy Chicken Marsala and the Preslianna Speciale. During our wait Claudia was there with refills and the wait for our entrees was again short. Our food arrived once again hot and fresh. Both dishes were amazing. The sauces in both dishes was spot on delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken was good. Everything was seasoned well. You can tell these guys take their craft seriously. Something I very much appreciate. As we finished up one of the owners came around and asked how everything was and cleared dishes we were finished with. He was not above working on the floor with his staff and helping do dirt. I have serious respect for that. After dinner we followed up with some canolis. Hard to go wrong here. They were pretty good. Not too sweet and presented beautifully. My only complaint would be the chocolate sauce they use. A kin to if not a Hershey syrup. Not off putting though. Again our server Claudia was there making sure we were cleared of plates and had refills and to go boxes. She was waiting on quite a few other people at the time and was able to keep up and do it well. Thank you for that.

All in all our experience here was top notch. I love the atmosphere as it's not too fancy that I feel like I need to dress in a tie. The food was great and the service was as well. The price was absolutely fair. We werent looking at the menu wide eyed at 40s next to each entree but the food absolutely reflects that level of quality. I love that in this economy I can have a dining experience as good as this and not stress the bill. There is a story behind this place and it's special. We will certainly be returning again hopefully soon. I think we found our new favorite...

Border line 1 star if not for the food. Which was ok but not something that great. Margaritas were ehhh. Service was awfull. The best I can describe the place is somewhere to go to if you want/need to eat out and not much else is available. Suggestion to higher up management/owner. Spend some time training or retraining your staff. Host did a good job . That's it. Seriously had to tell the server our order 3 times lol until the manager asked for the 4th and finally put it in. Water took over 5 mins while there was 2 tables inside. Had to ask the server multioke times to take finished plates off table.Your server does not know any of her drinks. Does not know soup of the day. For the kicker had to ask our to go order twice as well.( ordered cheese pizza for the kids at home. It was terrible.even the kids koyiced and they never care.) We weren't even upset. It was hilariously bad. Had the whole Kitchen nightmares vibe to it. Also would refresh the decor. One more, the water cups are the same plastic one Golden Corral uses, silverware and plates are beat beyond any use at a restaurant and are also super cheap looking. Looking forward to eating somewhere else...

Went last night and it was busy. We had reservations at 6:30pm and waited an hour to be seated. We did our reservations online and called in as well just to make sure they received our reservation. Supposedly everything was good. When we got there they didn’t even have our name down only that we had a party of 9 at 6:30. Big parties with no reservations kept getting seated down. The only reason. We didn’t leave was because it was our moms birthday. When we finally got seated down in the patio section where we were crammed in between tables my mom asked if there was any way we could move the tables or get seated somewhere else and the lady that seated us attacked my mom and yelled at her. I know it was a busy night, they were probably all stressed out, it was very chaotic in there, and it was very unorganized in there. If that was my employee that did that she would have been fired on the spot no doubt that second. She was very disrespectful and I don’t think anyone deserves to be treated the way she treated our mom. I can say that the food was good, our waiter was good, and we surprisingly got our food...
