Cold Stone is good. This location is good too. The service here is less than stellar. They are obviously short-staffed but my wife went in to get ice cream while I sat in the car with our baby and it took her 30-minutes to get 3 ice cream items. The crazier part is that there was only 1 person in front of her in line. The issue was that people kept walking in to pick up their online orders and rather then have them wait in the line they would ask, “do I need to wait in line for online?”, the staff would say “no I can help you.”, and she left in the middle of helping my wife to help the online order person. Here is the crazier part, the online persons order was not ready, and rather than finishing my wife’s order she proceeded to make their pint of ice cream. If y’all are short staffed everyone should have to wait in the line. I’m shocked by how many people were helped by skipping the line before my wife was helped. Again, a 25 minute wait when in the line there was only 1 person legitimately in front of her.
The review is 2-stars because the product tastes good but the...
Read moreThe staff here desperately needs to be trained on how to handle food!! We stopped in here to grab a couple chocolates, and the kid that was working grabbed each one out of the case with his bare hands. Even the chocolate clusters that have no paper or anything on them. He put a plastic sheet on the scale to weigh them, but clearly had no clue that those plastic sheets are meant to be used to handle the food too. Seemed like he could've been new, but there was only one other kid working and nobody else supervising, so he should know how to do the job.
We took our chances and ate the chocolates anyway, and were disappointed even further. All of them seemed old, were super hard, and tasted funky. Another reviewer mentioned the air freshener in the shop, and since the chocolates are all unwrapped in the case, it makes sense that they probably are absorbing that.
Overall I don't recommend coming here at all. 1/10 because it wasn't busy but seems like that's for...
Read moreCame in for a birthday treat, with an emailed BOGO coupon in hand. The coupon simply stated to show it, and that you may be asked for your ID. Fine. Employees could not figure out how to apply the coupon. They tried, but no one knew how to handle this standard coupon. We ended up paying for the ice cream that we were supposed to get for free (we even ordered the larger size, for this reason!), because nothing else could be done, and the line was building behind us.
This place should accept their own coupons like this, or find a way to make it right. We were not happy, and neither were the 10 people waiting to pay behind us.
They could have offered something else, just not rung us up for one, or offered some other kind of way to honor it. But honestly, being run by teenagers and young adults, I’m sure no one feels empowered to take care of...
