Save yourself the trouble and go to the Orem location instead.
I came with a group of 11 people, ordered quite a bit of food and not one person in our group got a hot meal. The seafood wasn't even warm either, and none of it came in a sealed bag like it usually does at any other Cajun seafood place I've been to, or even the kickin seafood Orem location. The crab legs and shrimp came out slightly cold, not sure if they were frozen and not thoroughly warmed up but I have NEVER in my life had crab legs like that. The meat in some of the legs was hard, as if it was stale or similar to beef jerky is how I could best describe it, and at the other end (the knuckle) the meat was mushy, it was so strange.
I'm not usually one to complain, but we ended up not really eating much of our order (Combo #4 with 2lbs of snow crab legs). Which was super disappointing because I love the Orem location, we just went to this location because it was closer and was my birthday dinner. The staff was super friendly and tried to fix the issue, which was just one of many others we had. Mostly incorrect orders arriving at the table and they struggled to get the orders right. They also brought some fried calamari and gave me a small discount for the inconvenience and asked if I wanted them to have the food cooked more, but I just didn't want to risk getting sick on my birthday so I kindly declined. Maybe they're still getting used to the new menu, otherwise I don't see how everything went so horribly wrong. I'll continue going to the Orem location for now. I hope it gets better eventually.
The attached pictures show how much of our meal we left behind due to being worried about getting sick. The crab legs had been picked up and given back to the...
Read moreCame here on a Friday night with a friend and we were seated right away! Our waitress was kind and knew a lot about the menu. She answered our questions and gave us good recommendations.
I ordered the combo seafood boil and the calamari appetizer to start. The appetizer did come out after our meals so we didn’t get to eat much of it since we wanted our meals. I don’t know why it didn’t come out shortly after ordering.
The calamari appetizer does have fried jalapeños as well, which is a nice addition. The dipping sauces weren’t anything special - I wish they had a jalapeño ranch like other seafood boil restaurants do.
The seafood boil itself was delicious! I got 1lb of shrimp, with the head off, 1/2 pound of black mussels, and then they include sausage, corn, and potatoes. I got a mix of all the seasonings/sauces and a medium spice level. The flavor was so good and it’s so fun dipping everything into the sauce before eating it. I also ordered a side of white rice to add my sauce to as well - always a must! The shrimp was juicy and tasted very fresh. The mussels also tasty fresh and did not have a sour or fishy taste. Everything was very yummy! I can’t wait to come back!
Prices are fantastic...
Read moreI debated writing this review for a long time, I was really hoping for a good seafood place. So we decided to try it out on Christmas day. It was not very busy. My son ordered a big bag of seafood and his food came and he enjoyed it. My husband ordered a Poboy sandwich. His food came. He said it was good, I ordered steak shrimp and broccoli and my other son ordered a Poboy. Everyone was eating their food and our party and my food never came. Neither did my sons the girls and told me that they messed up on my food and they were making it better which was a weird comment when my food finally came the steak and shrimp are good but the broccoli was ice cold like they just got it out so I will not be going back to this location. There’s a location in Orem we’re planning on trying then they offered me the 30% discount which, I was getting that discount anyways because I had a coupon they acted like they did it for the inconvenience. They caused us....
