Sometimes the intent of a review is to notify the public of the quality of an establishment, sometimes it is to catch the attention of the esteemed individual at the top of the ladder. I am here to do both. I remember back in high school when waffle love was born. What is this food truck traversing the state selling the finest waffles to ever reach the human pallet? The joy of unexpectedly finding yourself at the same location as one of their sacred vessels was unspeakable.
Fast forward to the present day, and you feel the reminiscent joy as you see they have established a storefront. Upon entering you see an extended menu, boasting both sweet AND savory waffle options. Curiosity peaked, you order a savory waffle with nigh unquenchable excitement. However, it is short lived as the staff member informs you it will be at least 20 minutes before the waffle will be ready. You look around, wondering if there is a bumping truck-style line of people waiting somewhere just out of view. But no, it’s just you, your wife, and a family of three waiting for their waffles. Disappointed, you decline to order but your wife orders a sweet waffle and you sit down.
20 minutes later the waffle, with a layer of biscoff and a scoop of whipped cream reaches your table.
What is the cause of this unusual wait time? Is this not the evolution of the Waffle Love food truck that satisfied millions at neckbreak speed? With 10x the overhead and -10x the production, certainly something must give.

Read morethis was not a great visit. we ordered 3 different waffles online for pickup around 8 am last week on Saturday. I chose to have them ready for pickup between 10-10:15 am. (Plenty of time to make them.) we did it this way because we were all at work and thought the easiest and fastest way was to order ahead. sadly that was not the case.
I never got a text that our order was pushed back so I was confused that my order was not ready for pickup by 10:15 am. I arrived at 10:05. I understand it was busy but I also ordered my food ahead of time so I wouldn’t have to wait and stress about how long it would take. the first issue was they somehow completely ran out of Nutella (which was on all three of the waffles) so we had to change it to biscof. this was slightly annoying because we ordered ahead and was not made aware of this before hand. The other issue is that current orders of present customers took priority over scheduled pick up orders. I don’t know what the point of the order ahead pickup system is for if they push them back for present customer orders. I had to wait until 10:45 am to get my food even after explaining to who I assumed was the manager that I really needed to go because my break ends at 10:30 and I can’t be late. I understand that they can’t control everything but this was a poorly executed situation and they seemed understaffed for a busy Saturday morning.
Moral of the story: don’t go there Saturday mornings and don’t order online...
Read moreIf I could give it a negative I would. The two girls helping us were worse than we have ever had in any place we have ever eaten. Very rude, seemed annoyed that we were even there. Us as paying costumers seemed like more than they wanted to do, they were just plain awful. We will never go back and we let others know of our experience. We ordered only one dish, because we had never been inside only to a food truck( which by the way that was good, plus good service goes along way as well) we were the only two people inside ordering, while deciding the girls rolling there eyes seemed frustrated that we were even there. We quickly and kindly choose something, they wouldn't even take the time to recommend something or tell us what some of the more popular dishes are. We sat down, one of the girls brought our dish out very rudely threw it on the table, we started eating it, wasn't crazy about the taste so one of us went up and asked for extra toppings, of coarse let them know politely we were planning to pay extra. She brought are extras threw them on the table with attitude and just walked away, not saying a word. We payed for them of coarse once she left our table. We have never ever been treated so rudely by anyone ever. We are always kind and respectful. This place however has horrible costumer service service with the mean horrible...
