Spoke — Restaurant in Amherst

This is by far the most unprofessional and unsafe bar I have ever been to. I was in the middle of filing a restraining order against a stalker when he showed up at this bar and followed me around all night. I was scared, crying, and went to the head of security, Dave, for help. Instead of protecting me, he refused to remove the stalker. Another security guard eventually removed him, but unbelievably, Dave let him back inside—just for him to continue stalking and staring at me for the rest of the night.

I explained to them about the restraining order and how unsafe I felt, and Dave told me he’s had people come in with stalkers before and he still serves the stalkers. Absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I went back a few weekends later to report this unprofessional and dangerous behavior, instead of taking accountability, Spoke banned me from the bar.

This place does not care about the safety or well-being of its customers. It’s an unsafe environment with a head of security who completely disregards harassment and restraining orders. I will never be returning, and I would strongly recommend avoiding this bar if you value...

Your below average bar when your looking for a place to drink on the weekend. My friend was racially profiled and kicked out for allegedly breaking into the employee bathroom. I would definitely stay away from this place if you can. The bouncer named, Walt, definitely racial profiles paying customers. If you are reading this review and considering this restaurant, I would most certainly avoid going to this bar. Racially profiling and staring at customers simply based on the race is straight up wrong. Walt should be ashamed of himself and this place does not deserve your money in any instance. Stackers and High Horse are much better bars and they are within a couple...

Had an amazing time at the spoke reuniting with college friends 25 years later. They let us in even though we were ancient compared to the regular clientele and treated us amazingly! All the young kids loved buying us shots which led to our old livers not being able to handle it! All in all was amazing time and you should hang out there whether you're just turning 21 or like us you're filled with gray hair...
