McDonald's — Restaurant in Anaheim

I don't frequent McD's as much as I used to, so it's been a while since I've been to one. I love engaging with people, so coming into here and not even having the employees greet us or smile at us was disheartening. It seems they have gone to offering kiosks to order instead of dealing with a person inside the restaurant. I was on limited time and wanted to be able to order my food and sit and enjoy it before I had to rush off to my next appt. I ended up asking an associate to help me with the kiosk and put my order thru so I didn't have to figure out the kiosk. While waiting for my food, there was an older couple, guessing to be in their 70s, that were struggling trying to understand the kiosk. They kept looking for an employee to help them, but the employees were basically ignoring anyone in the dining room. I ended up going up and asking someone to go help them. That was one of several people who came in that were trying to figure out the kiosk. It was truly disheartening and so unwelcoming. I can't presume that it was just rude employees as it may have been what they've been ordered to do. Unfortunately, it definitely tainted my experience of a restaurant that once was a fun, welcoming place with friendly employees, for families and friends to gather for a quick bite to eat. I also found it ironic that they had a recruiting sign offering jobs "with a side of feeling valued" while as a customer I did not feel valued....at all. It's my interesting point of view that food and connection go together. And customer service is high on my list of requirements for any business I engage with. So, if you're cool with dealing with tech, this place will be up your alley. For some, this is preferred. If you still prefer looking someone in the eyes and smiling as you greet each other and place your order, maybe not this place. How does it get any better than this?...

I came here on Oct 4thto use the wifi and the McDonald's app that is on one of my devices that only works on wifi I could not figure out why my McDonald's connect my McDonald's app wouldn't connect to McDonald's Wi-Fi which is customary to be present and working at every single McDonald's I have EVER visited, so after 2 HOURS of BATTLING with my phone and whatever McDonald's NONEXISTENT NETWORK ( AT THIS LOCATION) I tried to download the APP TO MY NEW DEVICE THAT DOES NOT NEED WI-FI by using one of the QR codes OFFERED AT THIS LOCATION TO DOWNLOAD MCDONALD'S APP and as a result I lost 9800 points THAT TOOK SIX WEEKS TO ACCUMULATE!!! I'm still sitting here starving because I can't redeem my points!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬 They COULD have AT LEAST put up a SIGN that SAYS SORRY NO WI-FI but DID they?? NO! I sat here for 2 hours and wasted 2 hours of my time trying to use the app and points that I was planning on using, AND NOW are GONE BECAUSE I tried to use the qr code OFFERED AT THIS LOCATION to download the app to my new device that didn't need wifi. Are they noticing the damage that this potentially does? No, all they needed to do was put up a sign that they DONT HAVE WIFI AT This MCDONALD'S. SO IF YOU CAME ALL THE WAY OVER HERE HOPING TO USE THEIR WI-FI,and or your app DON'T BOTHER BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO GET HERE AND BE PISSED BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO FIND OUT AFTER MAYBE A COUPLE OF HOURS THAT THEY DON'T HAVE...

So, there is allot of thinks wrong here. I place order 04:33pm I got my food at 04:57pm This isbthe longest wait I ever seen in a fast food, is like they when a butcher the cow and grind the meat For this long wait. But wait after all this wait the fries cold so if they made this fresh and still give cold food this is ridiculous. The staff have attitude like they dont want to be there and want you just out there fast. Yeah I get ia minimum wage job but to wait that long is ridiculous. There was another guy that place his order before me and he still has got there food I look at the screen what order they have it seems the erase them and just follow each recites they get and make it because to wait this long is ridiculous. The lobby, restrooms are filthy dirty I would imagine the kitchen if is the same how is inside. Employees move like they dont have a worry since they get pay by the hour so they dont care if someone has to wait that long to get there food. In this case I would gone to a seat down restaurant get my fresh HOT food rather then make me wait this long and give...
