Just left here. This was the second time I’ve eaten here. I dined in last year and did take out today. I can’t remember worse customer service experience, at a restaurant, than the one I had today.
Save yourself a headache and go to the chipotle next door.
The person standing at the hostess stand should have a job where he has no interaction with any breathing life forms. To call him dismissive would be an understatement. Most, if not all, restaurants offer a water or ask if you want a drink while you wait for your order. Oh no, not Mr. Man bun at the hostess stand. He simply pointed at a pitcher when I asked for a water. He was obviously to engaged doing ocular pat downs on people passing by outside to be bothered with providing any semblance of customer service.
It took 45 minutes for someone from the back to ask for our name. He went behind the hostess stand to get our order l, which had obviously been sitting there for sometime.
The kicker came after I realized that they forgot to add my simosas, which were on the ticket. Of course I had to wait another 20 minutes to get the two simosas that I ordered an hour before. Someone literally ordered and received an order of simosas before I got the ones they failed to put in my bag.
I told the “hostess” that mistakes happen, but this is obviously a mistake. His response, “We got busy”. There were no more than three tables while we waited.
I sincerely regret paying for and tipping at the beginning of the order. More importantly, I regret choosing...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant in Ann Arbor, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. This family-owned establishment has been serving authentic Indian cuisine for over 15 years, and it truly shows in the quality of their food.
The first thing that struck me was the authenticity of the dishes. The flavors were incredibly reminiscent of home-cooked Indian food, and it's not something you find easily in the United States. They have mastered the art of bringing the true essence of Indian cuisine to their patrons.
I was particularly impressed with their dosa and medhu vada. The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and had a delectable, soft center. It was served with a variety of chutneys and sambar, adding a burst of flavors that made the dish exceptional. The medhu vada was equally delightful – crunchy on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. It's evident that the family running this restaurant takes great pride in their culinary traditions and in providing a warm dining experience.
In my opinion, this Indian restaurant stands out as one of the best in the United States for its genuine, home-like flavors and delightful dishes. If you're in Ann Arbor and looking for authentic Indian cuisine, this place is...
