Times Square Kitchen — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

The food here is the real deal, and everything I’ve tried here has been outstanding. I am just now learning about NYC Style Halal Street Food, hence this food truck’s namesake. Pro tip- eat it right away, or request sauce on the side if you are traveling home before eating, or are not used to generous delicious sauce/dressing. Burgers were great, very filling, very greasy in that good, old-school burger place kind of way. The entrees with meat over rice look delicious. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu so far, but I’ve only tried gyros and burgers for personal research and curious culinary satiation. Not mentioned in the menu is high-effort level of ingredients from the meat to the thinly sliced cucumbers, chopped parsley, sauces, carmelized onions along with fresh crunchy chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, and maybe lettuce but I can’t even remember, I wolf it down.

Ideally, you are walking or biking to this location, it is a food truck on the corner of an auto repair location. I’m sure one could park at the auto place, but I’d imagine at peak daytime hours it might be more hectic. I’ll update if I find out. I like walking there and feel so fortunate to have TSK nearby.

The chairs are a nice touch, nice to have a place to sit while you wait. Food is made fresh, expect a nominal wait....

Better than restaurant food — from a food truck! I can’t say enough good things about their burgers. The Chapli Kabab burger was the best burger I’ve ever had in my entire life — and I’m almost 50!

I’ve eaten burgers all over: Pakistan, the USA, Canada, Turkey, and Mexico — but their burgers topped everything I’ve ever tried. The meat was incredibly tender, literally melting in my mouth. The aroma, the spices, the salt — everything was perfectly balanced. (And believe me, I’m very picky when it comes to spices.)

They use hand-slaughtered, Zabiha Halal meat, which is a huge plus. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back — maybe just for the burgers!

Try their triple patty burger too — I dare say it’s better than the famous Michigan burger chain, Taystee’s. 😅 Oh, and the prices are more...

In one of the most unassuming places. We went the wrong direction and ended up directly in front of a little food truck that just called to us. It did not disappoint. I Had the lamb bowl and The portion size was great! I am pregnant so I was able to like save some for later , and that's always a ten out of ten for me. My fiance who is usually a bit selective enjoyed his schwarma fries so much that he ate it on the way home. After a hard day and being at UofM for a couple of hours , it definitely hit the spot. Although they only had the guava jaritos, i'm not complaining. I normally don't deviate from my strawberry or pineapple but now I have a new flavor that I like. If i'm ever in the area again I would most definitely check this place out and try something different because the whole menu...
